I used to be 4"11 but with severe scoliosis I've lost another 2 inches. I have had to re hem some of my jeans. Now I try to always go for cropped but I'm also very skinny ( to skinny) so it's hard to buy jeans that's are not super tight but also don't look so baggy I disappear and are not super expensive. I have to wash them more often to keep them from stretching out and giving me diaper butt. I hate that. 🤣 I get that alot if I'm not careful and the material is to streatchy. I was not blessed with highth or a nice butt and as you get older well....things are not as firm as they used to be. 🤣 I know TMI but I'm 40 I tell it like it is. 🤣🤣🤣💜

Great video idea. Especially for those of us that love and wear mostly jeans. silly me didn’t realize there were two wedgie styles. That’s good information since I have thicker legs and the icons are less comfortable. Now I’ll know for future to get the straight fit instead. Thanks Elana.

I wax very tiny in high school (before stretch jeans existed) and I kept pliers in my room to zip them up. I loved tight jeans too. 😁 They also HAD to be Levi’s.

This is how girls are supposed to look in Levi’s jeans. When sized correctly, for the girl, this is how they should look. All you young girls watching this, take note, this is what you should look like in Levi’s. No other jeans make a young girl’s butt look so good..
Thanks for the review! I also love the wedgie the most and find the 501s just a tad bit too high rise for me. I just wanted to clarify that the % elastane is dependent on the wash, also. I have a medium wash wedgie straight, and it has 1% elastane and feels/fits the same as my icons with the same fabric content. I think there are icon washes that are 100% cotton, also. So, depending on whether you prefer straight or tapered leg, you could find the fabric content you prefer in both. 🙂

Unfortunately the Levi's are to big for me. I'm super skinny with a tiny butt. I can wear a 12 in girls. I can get diaper butt really easy. 🤣 I also don't have a big budget for a great pair of jeans. I've tried multiple times to save even $5 a month but before I can save the full amount something comes up and I need it. I'm starting to get super depressed ( but I laugh so I don't cry). I'm 40 and things have drooped. TMI 😂 getting older sucks. I just want to feel confident again and not have to worry about a saggy butt or to skinny that I look like a toothpick or so baggy I get lost in them. It's a battle. I have to go in to try them on because returning is getting out of hand. So that makes it worse 😕
I hear you, Tiffany. I am 5'3-5"4, and weigh 100 lbs. I am small-boned and have been struggling with weight my entire life. Finding clothing fit for our body type is definitely difficult, frustrating and sometimes even depressing.
Here's what i've understood from my experiences : wear anything that feels good and fits your lifestyle, and work your style around that! For example, I am comfortable in leggings because I take frequent walks and am a full time student. Therefore, I purchase tops that can be worn over leggings. If I buy jeans (rare, but currently on the hunt, hence me watching this video), I usually get them tailored to fit MY body if I absolutely love the general fit on me. If not, I return them.
Don't give up hope or feel bad for making returns, as you are entitled to doing so and are allowed to find clothing that suits YOUR body.

@@itzbeeianca thank you, I appreciate your comment. I have found that long skirts, dress and leggings are best for me. I get the saggy butt look if I'm not careful with my jean purchases. Lol. I'll just wear leggings under my skirt and long sleeves under my dress and sweaters. It makes me look a little more like i have meat on my bones with the layers. 🤣 I'd like to wear jeans alot more often but Im still on the hunt for a really great pair. Please tell me if you find any awesome jean finds. 😊

I ordered some 501 skinny jeans and noticed theirs bunched fabric sticking out on inner thighs on each side just below crotch area. Wondering if this is a sizing issue or possibly not right style for me. Im 5'4 123lbs with twiggy legs and a 27 inch waist. According to levis size chart a size 26 is actually a 27. Something waist so i ordered the 26. Just curious if anyone else has had this issue and where do I go from here?

Well I only wash unless they’re actually “dirty” so I can increase the life span of them so about every 10 wears , maybe a little longer and just wash on cold, inside out & air dry!
