- I painted a landscape of a scenery that I captured myself in my latest video. I usually get inspired by images I like on Pinterest. Now I will start collecting my own landscape photos. I'm even thinking about going on a caravan trip for this purpose. If I do so, I will share my experience with you in a vlog. These ideas are really exciting me. This piece turned out just as amazing as the others. LOVE the brick work!! Was wondering, have you done waterfalls? I recently have with my Himi gouache and it was a bit of a challenge. Especially the misty areas.

I don't know what it is with this one, but it's different from your normal work somehow. Not in a bad way, but maybe you enjoyed it a little more than usual? That does tend to show in an artist's work. I very much look forward to seeing what you create in the future, especially with taking your own reference photos! I've heard that makes a painting more memorable and meaningful. I myself have yet to try it, but then I also have yet to paint a landscape.

I can paint like this without problems but I would kill for sketches I could use... My drawings always comes out skewy and spoils the effect :(
