Yes you want to try not to have them touch each other, But sometimes you have no other choice, because of the way they brought the stone , Lots of one sizes
How are you working without tarps and heat? Just curious how everything isn't freezing up on you.

Hey man,why arent you tarped in and heated or is that fake snow? If you have a winter hat and a hood on maybe the masonry needs to be warm too. Winter videos like this give the trade a bad reputation.
It's not that cold ,as you see water is running from the roof, that's how hot it was
