Dear God... There are no words to describe this...For us TOS fans..this is the Mona Lisa of craft men ship.... Simply Beautiful...!!!! Ty for sharing.. God Bless.
This Is a Tremendous build! You know out of all the enterprise builds on TH-cam , The Refit Enterprise from the motion picture Star Trek Is the best looking Ship of all the Enterprises. That is my favorite! I think you have a 6ft replica of that ship🙌🏾
Man I had two "moments" along this video. First when the bridge lighted I always fell off of my chair. The second was when it showed the hangar doors opened and as if I was watching a motive for a little while I kept awaiting for the Galileo to take off! LoL! It's fantastic, superb work! I am starting to play with Arduino and am going to assemble an 1/600 model with similar lighting (no bridge though...). Keep the good work!
Same here, man! ;-) Bridge....my jaw dropped!!! A never, ever! seen anything like this. Except. for remastered TOS, of course.;-) P.s. funny and witty title.:)))))
Omg, this is absolutely magnificent, incidental music from 'The Doomsday Machine et al'. Best model I've seen. This is the Enterprise I love, the Motion Picture re-fit maybe more in line with how we view technology, but this is my Enterprise. TOS is the best by far. X
Messed up putting the bridge at an angle. What is more important, having the bridge facing correctly or the turbo lift line up? The whole bride at an angle idea was a TV set blooper. It wouldn't make any sense having a bridge turned like that.
@trf12567 That corresponds with the TV show. Next time you're watching Star Trek, take a look at how the turbolift door isn't behind Kirk's chair, it's over his left shoulder instead of behind him. I do not know how true this is, but from what I heard, the turbolift was placed behind Shatner's left shoulder instead of behind him so both Shatner and the door could be included in the same camera frame.
trf12567 actually, if you dig up the original blueprints, you’ll find the bridge IS actually offset by about 12 or 15 degrees. So the model is canon correct.
I got my NX - 01 and NCC - 1701 refit several years ago and then the NCC- 1701 ( tos ) about two years ago . The only thing is that I think that I missed out on the upgrade kits . Other than the really expensive light set for the NX - 01 . And really bad soldering skills . I'm hoping that there's a light harness kit for the others that would be like the Klingon D - 7 .
Absolutely mind-blowing.!! I'm working on the 18" AMT version and am planning to use stepper motors for the nacelles. I would like to use the Arduino platform as well. Which version did you utilize.
Great build and use of an Arduino for the lights for the Enterprise.... Would you be will to share the Arduino Sketch you used for your lighting effect. Thanks for posting your video.
Beautiful they need to build that ship for real get some of us out there before there's none of us left even if it's going to have to be a multi-generational ship let's just get going before there's no humans left
Very well done! How did your sound track get past CBS CID? I have built a similar model that also has Arduino controlled features. My model performs the entire Doomsday machine episode. For some reason, no matter how I edit my video, CBS CID keeps blocking it. I tried using CBS's permission submission form, but I never got a response.
Hi there, Great build. Just real quick, just a summation. I'm a Paramount Grip in Hollywood who's worked in ST for decades. Anyways, I bought my model a few years back, haven't unpacked it being I also intend to get as close to the filming model as grippingly possible (and I have lots of unique resources). Reference the motors, I want to build my own lighting kit. I don't have the vernacular to properly call the motors and in step find the best variety for the build. Any insight? Thanks
In one of your other videos I saw 3 ships in your 1/175 scale fleet. One was a K'Tinga. Looks amazing, like all your other models. Do you have a detailed video of that as well? Also, please do not set your new videos for children, since then one can not add them to ones own playlist for later viewing. Also comments gets deactivated. That's why I have to write on this video instead. Thank you. 😎
Your usual standard Jason! Is there anywhere with info about the Arduino sketch and/or additional hardware to drive the leds and motor details? Would really appreciate any other info!
Absolutly genius! Only the Brisge oriantation is not like i would have done it. I know the Turbolift is different from the outside then the inside, but thats a Design problem of the props. In "Real" Star trek life the Bridge is oriantet with the Viewscreen to the front.
Ok disregard my previous comment. This explains the builder's intent as to why the bridge interior is not facing forward. It's because of the turbolift position. Nice work!
This is cool but I heard that the bridge was supposed to face forward. It wasn’t offset like those drawings. I heard this from someone that knew Matt Jefferies.
I dunno. I’ve always found statements made by “somebody who knows somebody who said something” rather suspect. Show me where it’s quoted in a book or other document and I’d give it a lot more weight. Until then, Franz Joseph’s blueprints are a much more likely primary source and are corroborated by at least one other source iirc.
The Bridge sits at a 36° angle to port. It does not face forward. It can't. The turbo lift is behind and to the left. On the outside of the ship the turbo lift is directly behind the bridge. It can't be both ways. The only way it works, is to angle the Bridge 36° Port. This is what Trekkers understand and what Trekkies don't get.
@@playEADG1 Doug DREXLER from STAR TREK told me directly. He knew Jefferies. I asked him. The screen is meant to face forward and the offset turbo lift was for dramatic purposes.
Nope It's the only way it can work or people couldn't get off the bridge. The I heard it from somebody that knew somebody is a stupid argument. It's like that guy in school that told everybody about their "girlfriend that lives in Canada." Form Follows Function the doors have to line up with the lift.
Dear God... There are no words to describe this...For us TOS fans..this is the Mona Lisa of craft men ship.... Simply Beautiful...!!!! Ty for sharing.. God Bless.
I was blown away by the bridge-this video made me feel like the young boy watching his first episode of Star Trek again-thank you.
I have watch a lot of these videos and this build has to be the best! You sir, are a steely-eyed missile-man.
Absolutely amazing. Hopefully you never have to trick it into self-destructing someday.
That is superb! It even has the bridge angled to the left, as it should be according to the blueprints.

Everything on this is done beautifully.Execution is great. Lighting concept is great. Details are great. Video is great!
I can't believe I've never seen these before.
I commend you your dedication.
Thank you for being smart and placing the Bridge correctly, at the 36° angle to the Port.

Incredible job. Hoping to do this same model myself....someday. You’re a real inspiration
So amazing. And perfect, PERFECT choice of music as well (The Doomsday Machine, one of the best episodes in the entire series). I want one now. =D
WOW!!!! Amazing work!!! One of the best that I've seen for sure!
Amazing work. That couldn't have been easy. Beautiful Starship.
Even the correct bridge angle orientation! Bravo, Sir!! Very well done!🖖
The best custom TOS even seen
One word: AWESOME!
Wow she is beautiful!!! Easily good enough for filming.
Incredible piece of workmanship...and a great choice for the video's sound track...from one of the best episodes of TOS...'The Doomsday Machine'...
Omg the bridge blew me away 😭
That is absolutely magnificent!
Stunning build. Love your use of Doomsday Machine music!
Your model should be featured in TOS movie!
Oh my god...that....bridge! How the Hell did you do that???? There's even a D7 in the view screen!

@@robertray950 More than that - 36° offset!
@@robertray950 it’s not. DREXLER told me that Matt Jefferies said the bridge faced forward and the elevator thing was to see people get on and off.

Wow! Even had the Galileo in shuttle bay.
That was incredible!

If they still used models today they should hire you.

Well done ! Beautiful model
Epic!! Well done in every way.
All you need now is a scratch built Doomsday Machine to complete the scene!
Isn't she gorgeous, isn't she a beaut'.

Hi Jason,
Any thoughts about building the Enterprise-C? I always felt that this should had been the staring vessel on Star Trek the next generation.
Anyone have a link to this model kit, light kit and anything else needed please?
Omg awesomeness!!!!
What did it cost to build?
