Split Color Scheme Tie Dye T: Fire Mandala on Ice and Ice Mandala on Fire

Video of my most recent shirt. I’m experimenting with mandalas lately, trying to get better at getting them clean and evenly saturated. I’m getting close… but I think I learned on this one that, with mandalas especially, I need to be a bit more patient after irrigation to let the soda ash solution soak in fully and reach the deeper folds and tighter ties before I move on to the next step. I feel like this one would have been awesome if I had done that… oh well. Next time! Hopefully that does the trick! I think it’s still a pretty cool shirt, just not what I hoped. Anyway, thanks for checking out my work!
