Then when I saw the final shirt I was like oh my goodness it is so beautiful. I just love the colors I'm overwhelmed it's so pretty. I'm not usually one to comment very much but this just blew me away
The final results are always lighter after it’s washed and dried. It was really cold when I made it so I don’t think it’s as vibrant as it should be. I still love it though. ❤️🌈

No, you can do dye under ice. The fun thing with tie dyeing there is no right or wrong way. If you want to make this particular shirt you should do what I did. ♥️🌈

I'm completely confused by the way this thing turned out. I mean the peach was at the top and the blue was at the bottom. Why does this look like a big blue flower? The flow looks like it's going the opposite direction it should be. The end result is beautiful.
I don’t think I explained it very well. The starting point (the underarm) I placed at the bottom of the gutter instead of the top. It’s flowing towards the underarm. So, you are correct in your observation of the direction. ❤️🌈

Yay! For liquid yes, small pleats. Ice dyes are forgiving. I often find larger pleats on ice dyes to be aesthetically more pleasing to the eye. ❤️🌈

Umm 🤔 I use steam with my iron. You just want to get all the wrinkles out before taking pictures. It makes the dye pop! ❤️🌈

Why use ice cubes?
Because this method is called ice dyeing. It causes the dye to split into alternative colors and it’s just another way of creating tie dye. ❤️🌈
