Andrew Mangalindan, Branden Phillips, Casey Walker, and David Dupuis represented A-Train4014 Productions at the Illinois Railway Museum for their annual Diesel Days event. This year did NOT feature a Diesel Parade due to the low amount of crews/volunteers available for the weekend of August 11-12. So the crews were hard at work coupling and uncoupling trains as a tight schedule was made to make other train rides available ranging from the Nebraska Zephyr led by CB&Q (Burlington Route) E5A 9911A and a C&NW (Chicago & North Western) Bi-Level Train led by C&NW F7A 411, along with a variety of diesel trains pulled a Caboose Train and a Coach Train. While we were there, we met up with a variety of close friends and colleagues like Matthew Grentz (SOO6061), Andrew Sonkin (TheRailAviator777), Larry Amaloo, Mark and Paul Ciecelski, and Tim Parrott. Nice! OERM needs to work something out with IRM by making a joint train with their 2 FP45s.
That would be quite a sight to see. However being about 2,000 miles +/- between them, would require a LOT of help and support from other class 1 Railroads. I just don't see them investing their time or money to make that happen. Even if they would help, where would it take place? Also getting coaches there staffing it, selling tickets! Don't take it wrong I would like to see that happen. I just don't see people giving the support to pull that off..! or would they?

It is a FP45 locomotive. The F40C locomotives were actually based on the FP45 locomotives. -Andrew Mangalindan

Nice, when are you going to rail fanning Blue Island Vermont street?? They have new paints too like 202, 209, and 425 (Rock island paint),
We won't be filming in Blue Island for a while since it's out of our way. We'll get there eventually.
A-Train4014 Productions Alright and how bout the up north line going to Wisconsin like at Waukegan or Evanston?
Possibly, but it is doubtful we will film there because it is basically Metra commuter trains on that line. Unless if there's a video idea that we could do for that line, we'll try and attempt to film on the Metra-UP North.
A-Train4014 Productions thanks, how bout Des plaines on the Harvard sub and Geneva on where you record it at Elmhurst
We will eventually make a couple more trips to Elmhurst before the end of the year. On the other hand, we will not likely be on the Harvard Sub unless if there's something interesting out there.
