- Final installment of the Diesel Days trilogy.
We make our way back to the Illinois Railway Museum for their third and final day of Diesel Days this year. With the other two days being dominated by Streamliners and EMD's, today was the day for ALCO's and GE's to shine, and also marked the maiden run of IRM's newest acquisition, TTI 260! So sit back, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of these engines at work. Enjoy!

Looks like the M&E 18 may run on the rails soon!
It would be awesome!
Appreciate the work you do! I was only able to make it down to day 2 for basically EMD day. I'm a GBW guy through and through so not seeing 2407 run was a shame, and next year I'd be sure to make it down for GE/Alco day!
They need to run the AEM-7 on the electrical parts of the tracks
Good idea
Good video.
Is that an actual Amtrak AEM7 at 4:05?
Yes I can see that
Wow! @20:48 the Zephyr just Vanished, into The Twilight Zone !!! Will we ever see it again? Where's Rod Sterling, he knows......
Just kidding, I know how that happens!
I got to handle the throttle on 1689 on Saturday
Awesome
Omg I’m in it soft serving lmao
That RS5T needs some repairs. Not bad but it could sound better.
