Chuck is a complex guy. So deep in some aspects, and so shallow in others. This is a very sweet piece and shows a gentle and vulnerable side of him that he attempts it and cannot conquer it. Dam, this show is so well written. Take nothing for granted with BCS!

This piece would take years to master (and is beautifully performed by this pianist). Chuck's inability to conquer it (something that would have been easy in the past) shows the conflict he has with his brother and the fact that Jimmy is getting to him. Kudos to the writers for this subtle scene.

Wasn't he already messing it up before Howard got there with the news about Jimmy? As for Sicilienne, it might take years to reach that level of ability to read music, and most amateurs wouldn't have it in their bench. I had never heard of Gabriel Faure until about 4 years ago. Sicilienne is a very nice piece. So I got the sheet music and practiced and practiced. Everyone that I played it for told me that it was a most beautiful piano piece.
I remember playing this (poorly) on flute as a kid. Such a beautiful and melancholy piece. I get tingles whenever I hear it done well - like just now. Thank you so much.

i was searching for sicilinne by schummann but i mis typed the composer and tumbled over this video.. i heard those first notes and remembered when i was 3 a tradegy that i held on vengeance since then .. but when you played the rest of the notes the song just melted my heart.. thanks

It has been done for a month, but stopped practicing. Got back to it, and its kinda a wreck. Man i gotta retain songs better. SIKE THAY WAS LAST WEEK! i got it back to perfomring. Once u had it at one point, u can get it again a lot faster.
Chuck (Better Call Saul) is like Marie in Everybody Loves Raymond: great characters played so well by the actors that one ends up hating both. Their artistry is in reminding us of someone in our family or just plain repulsed by their self-centeredness and lack of compassion for the feelings of relatives or anyone else's.
One minute I'm sitting on my butt watching TV, and the next I'm expanding my musical horizons. Better call Saul!
