Other then the color that truck is identical to my 06' prob most reliable truck I ever owned. Paid $3500 few years ago and put over 100k on the odometer. Compared to my 03' the typical rowdy but unreliable 6.0. lol I've been writing my own tunes on 6.0s for a few years and usually yes tuning gets alot of blame for killing 6.0s but its usually one of 3 things related to tuning. like bad tuning, 6.0s can get easy power just by spoofing the icp voltage or just over fueling till 10 or 12 to 1stoic ratio another problem is the health of the engine before the tune. the engine has seen over 200k miles or 7k hours of repetitive heat cycles and cylinder pressures under 3500 rpm now but the biggest problem is its impossible to go easy on it and not have fun. '''FWD BOOSTIES ARE MORE ADDICTING THEN COCCAINE!'' Best advise is get a EGT probe and mount the sct where you can watch your vitals. Those are dummy gages in the dash ford doesn't even use a real oil pressure gauge its just a switch that reads normal @ 6psi. If you learn to tune use Hptuners you can change tunes on the fly Basically just change tunes while at the stop light with your cruise control buttons you can also tune the ficm with hptuners
I got the same truck same year a little different set up newer mirror, bumpers etc. got a 8” lift running sticks for now cause I’m using it as a work truck (construction) but I’m getting some new wheels . And seeing your cab lights I’m definitely putting those . Your truck is fcking sweet bro 🤘🏽 and ooohh yes when the roads a little wet don’t let your foot slip 😂😂

My limiter is set at 4600 😂 she partys. My brothers 6.0 has seen 6300rpm.

It's mostly stock honestly lol It's studded, obviously tuned, stage one powermax with a cracked up-pipe (still gotta fix it) and a 4in turbo back straight pipe lol she scoots for what it is but its mainly just somewhat of a daily/second truck, don't really have intentions of making big power.. just gonna end up making a good tow rig out of it, maybe a little lift idk lol
When u put it on 4wd h have to be in neutral
@deviloffdasouth4144 only need to be in neutral to go to 4wd low
Can you tune an 5.4L gas 250? I've never seen anyone tune those. I might have to research it.
