where did you get the mill from? Do you know the history of that mill as in previous owners. Reason im asking is my grand dad had a mill very similar to that 1 as having that type of friction wheel drive for the carriage, He was from Ludington @@sawmillingGarry
I bought it from my neighbor George mccastle he is 95 or 96 this year. I'm friends with his grandson Jason you see him on some of my videos . I'll see if I can find out. I'll tell you this though there's a lot of American Sawmills around Michigan right before covid and right at the beginning of covid . I started searching for sawmills and I found probably 10 ident to mine they started in Baldwin and went all the way into the UP . I drove up and got two four parts on the one I use now.
