    Nice. That's what I want to do with my TSI as well. What year GTI Rear Diffuser for the exhaust did you use?

      @@alexmerrritt3045 there’s a fella who’s done a video on here called Alexander Max, fitting a GTI TCR rear diffuser to a 1.4 TSI seems like it’s fits sound

    You modified rear bumper as well? I ask for my taigo with same engine

    • @HackingCars
      @HackingCars  ปีที่แล้ว

      Bumper no, only the diffuser. From oem non rline to gti-like.
      The original one for GTI will not work because of the differences in dimensions.

    Is this legal if police asks? And most of all, dose it pass technical control?

    • @HackingCars
      @HackingCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the country, but for example in Europe besides Germany, there should not be any problem with emission or technical control. This upgrade consists only of cat-back, which means that the stock catalytic converter and OPF filter are still in use.
      The exhaust is not so much louder than the OEM version and you can always enable/disable the flap so the exhaust is pretty much silent as a stock.

    • @HackingCars
      @HackingCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a custom-made cat-back by a company DAER Racing however, if you would like to have something similar, I would look for Milltek cat-back exhaust since they are doing something very similar for this exact engine 1.5 TSi EVO EA211.

    • @HackingCars
      @HackingCars  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a custom made one from DAER RACING. However, you can search on the internet for a Milltec catback exhaust for a VW GOLF VII 1.5 TSI.

    any power gain?

    • @HackingCars
      @HackingCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      nothing noticeable, tested on the dyno using 101+ octane fuel, and the difference between on and off position was ~3PS. On the road, the difference is mainly because the new exhaust system is lighter than the OEM one, which was successfully proven by a DRAGY when doing acceleration pulls.
