That's incredible from an engineering standpoint and it's very artistic too. I've looked at a lot of incredible Lego creations before, but this is unlike anything I've seen before.
I learn so much about mechanical engineering from you guys. I have plenty of science channels I watch, some digital logic stuff, some chemistry, math, quantum mechanics and astrophysics, but you guys are my first and so far only insight into mechanical engineering and I only want to learn more. Thank you so much for your great work.
Some very elegant feature designs. Love this. I work mostly with Technic and for decades have been looking for an excuse to use a motor as a generator but never seem to have one. This is the perfect way to showcase that ability. Please let Kristal know her work is appreciated and admired.
I love how the beauty of this model comes from the beauty of the mechanisms themselves. It's not usual for pistons and gear shafts to be used by themselves without being used to power something else. I guess what I'm saying is that all the mechanisms are kind of "useless" in a way. They are awesome as a standalone feature, and they don't necessarily need to be used to power anything else.
Very nicely done! I love that it doesn't need batteries. I sometimes connected 2 power functions motors to "transport the rotation" via a cable. It's pretty inefficient but quite a cool trick. :)
Wow, seeing this in action for the first time is like seeing a magic trick, then as you see how it works it dispels some of that magic until you realize how smart design is. Love it ;)
A very nice and ingenious application of simple techniques. Wonderful work! So we have the artist, the engineer, what's next? The Philosopher? It's an unlikely dream but I hope for the Product Design Engineer!
I can imagine a model where the face falls forward to reveal some nifty mechanism. Perhaps the mind of an actress. Perhaps there's a way so that each time you close and re-open the face, you see a new scene, representing a few roles one might play. It would be pretty neat.
One thing that would be really cool is that if you ever put this on Lego ideas and the heads were based of certain people, like the artist would be Leonardo DaVinci, and this one be Albert Enstiene.
hmmm... if she was his doughter, i would say, that it runs in their family. but idk how big is a chance of two *really* talented people meeting and marrying... :D maybe like 30! to 1 XD
The next model should be ''What a Lego thinker sees'' You look through the back of the head to see through the eyes, but when you turn a crank, transparent pieces will move in your vision to make it seem like that's what the thinker sees.
my mind was blown by the fact those motor pieces can be reversed into power generators. i have a bunch of them but didnt have a use for them ever since my mindstorms cpu broke. now i have a ton of ideas for this.. crank powered lights, elevators.. so many possibilities
To me, the most unbelievable thing about all of these contraptions is the process by which one person somehow conjures up the mechanics and idea to make this. It's fascinating.
Argon he became one?, *LEGO is the plural of LEGO, you dont call it "a hotwheels" its "a LEGO piece", also, what yo might call "a lego man" is called "minifigure", so, he became a minifig
That's incredible from an engineering standpoint and it's very artistic too. I've looked at a lot of incredible Lego creations before, but this is unlike anything I've seen before.
Amazing LEGO work of art! Your LEGO creations always impress me! - TD BRICKS

Lol, amazing build!
Wow, I love your models! Your creations are always so creative and different. Awesome work, as always!

I meant it's your right 😉. BTW, are you just on TH-cam to correct people? 😄
This is my favorite series on the channel and I can't wait for the next one, love you
All the mechanisms are so, so impressive! Can't wait if there's ever going to be a third head!
Plz can you submit these to Lego ideas so we can get the sets
This wouldn't become an ideas set
+Hagen if there are lego birds, then why the fuck not? :D
+Max Hoffer Because lego would probably dumb them down to obsud levels
General Waffle I wish
+Waffle That would be awesome, but I don't think LEGO would do that.

Yes!! A second one!! I loved the first!
Whoa, when I saw this at the beginning I was wondering how all of this is done, turns out it's all simply brilliant.
I have not played or heard about lego in a year this is what I come back to, the evolves and so does the past.
Very nicely done! I love that it doesn't need batteries. I sometimes connected 2 power functions motors to "transport the rotation" via a cable. It's pretty inefficient but quite a cool trick. :)
Another speechless moment. I am so looking forward to the next series models!
Awesome design, the piston and crank powered light were really neat.
Beautiful sculpture, excellent work as always.
it always looks simple after its made, well done on this amazing sculpture
These videos relax me so much. Thank you for the explanation on the engineering Jason!!
Wow, seeing this in action for the first time is like seeing a magic trick, then as you see how it works it dispels some of that magic until you realize how smart design is. Love it ;)
I love this! Learned a lot from watching the inside build! Thanks!
Clever use of gear racks, she did an amazing job!
i must say these videos are always quite relaxing to watch
How very well explained Jason, truly ingenious design.
Wow that is so awesome!!! You guy are so good at gear mechanisms!!! So complicated but so awesome!!!
Very nice, very good solutions !
A very nice and ingenious application of simple techniques. Wonderful work!
So we have the artist, the engineer, what's next? The Philosopher? It's an unlikely dream but I hope for the Product Design Engineer!
+Acrimonious Mirth How about the Physicist?
wow I wish I was able to create something that amazing
build what u like
Класная вещ
Same bruh , it’s my 1st time building with gears
0:10 to 0:16 was absolutely satisfying. Amazing work at the finest!
That is damn beautiful. Amazing work, Kristal!
This
Is
CRAMAZING
(crazy and amazing)
You all come up with such cool stuff.. Have you ever done any robotic builds? like mini rovers or rc cars? Maybe used a Pi along side your build?
Beautifuly done ! I am actively waiting for the other heads !
Awesome job Kristal! Especially love how the gears connect at just the right times for those other components to work the way they do.
I totally can’t understand why you have only 400k people YOU ARE AMAZING
This is such genius design. It's AWESOME!
Thanks jk brickworks Your design inspire me
Another beautiful piece. Thanks for sharing.
Congrats, Jason, on having Adam Savage like one of your models.
Can you make building instructions for both?
Yes plz
Yes I want to build this lego moc

TH-cam 2019: Yeah let's recommend this
hopefully you invent originality this year :)
This is simply an amazing model! You should enter this to lego ideas for sure!
I can imagine a model where the face falls forward to reveal some nifty mechanism. Perhaps the mind of an actress. Perhaps there's a way so that each time you close and re-open the face, you see a new scene, representing a few roles one might play. It would be pretty neat.
sounds quite interesting
I’m more impressed with how she made such an accurate head
Amazing, and quite the artistic model!
Wow!! That is so well imagined and designed.
That's insane. Incredible work.
The sculpting of the face has an Art Deco feel.
Cant't wait for the next one!
Great job! Mechanism is awesome! 👌
This is totally mesmerizing!!!!! Great job engineer!!!
Brick Architect bhhggggghhhnnnnnn
That is really really cool. I can't believe how complex the inside is. Amazing job
One thing that would be really cool is that if you ever put this on Lego ideas and the heads were based of certain people, like the artist would be Leonardo DaVinci, and this one be Albert Enstiene.
Your wife is an amazing builder too :D
hmmm... if she was his doughter, i would say, that it runs in their family. but idk how big is a chance of two *really* talented people meeting and marrying... :D maybe like 30! to 1 XD
It is not that hard for two people interested in the same region meet each other, but love affection has not boundaries.
Incredibly talented couple.
Nice, another kinetic sculpture!
fascinating. these (and the sisyphus) are my favourite models on the channel, great work!
ITS AMAZING OF WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH LEGOS! soo cool, i like ur vids :)
If only i could upvote this multiple times ... That's what i call Art.
Wow! its amazing you super artist and i think that one of your creations sepose to be on all lego festivals all over the world!!!
woah, great addition, you should ask crystal to make the next one a scientist, that would be cool :D
I liked the video before watching because I knew it would be awesome.
The next model should be ''What a Lego thinker sees''
You look through the back of the head to see through the eyes, but when you turn a crank, transparent pieces will move in your vision to make it seem like that's what the thinker sees.
Simply brilliant and brilliantly simple!
my mind was blown by the fact those motor pieces can be reversed into power generators. i have a bunch of them but didnt have a use for them ever since my mindstorms cpu broke. now i have a ton of ideas for this.. crank powered lights, elevators.. so many possibilities
All that amazing engineering, and all I could think of through the whole video was that mars spaceport scene from Total Recall.
Another beautiful creation !
ugggggg. im so happy i found this channel. these builds are so amazing and beautiful. is there a place where i can buy the actual kit to build?
some hell of a creation man....im speechless
Master Mind, original ideas and very inspiring, Thank You
Amazing! Great design
Clever usage of Lego! Thanks for the UL!
It's so pretty! Great work ;-)
I can't wait for the third model!
It's so simple but it looks so complicated.
To me, the most unbelievable thing about all of these contraptions is the process by which one person somehow conjures up the mechanics and idea to make this. It's fascinating.
This is an amazing model. Are there instructions available for it?
Can I hear the horrible story of a man that was forced to connect his youtube account to google+?
You see, there is a reason I subscribed.
Well series! Next time, a Lego arcade game played would be cool ^^
Does anyone take into consideration of how long it takes for them to design these builds?
have you sent ANY of these to Lego Ideas. Get sending, make an account these are amazing!
you deserve a nobel prize for converting a toy to a piece of art
That's incredibly awesome!
Fantastic work :)
We need one where the face opens and there's a skeletal system inside. Maybe Inside the Mind of a LEGO Designer or something
Gorgeous build.
My friends: what’s on your mind
Me: uh....let me show you * opens up brain to show friends my mind is make of LEGOs *
as you can see this Lego engineer loved Legos so much he became one
he liked legos so much he raped the whole harry potter set and that's their child
Argon he became one?, *LEGO is the plural of LEGO, you dont call it "a hotwheels" its "a LEGO piece", also, what yo might call "a lego man" is called "minifigure", so, he became a minifig
Obnoxious Otter nope minifigures are the “mini”sized humans, he is a bigfigure
That is clever AF. I love her work. :-)
Very very great project!!!Fantastic!
WOW! Wonderful explanation.
Absolutely amazing!
Brilliant. She should join you for these videos!
pleasse do instructions for these, they are so cool and deserve to be made by others, I only say this for models that are truly ingenious
These are the moments i wish i had more lego
These are the moments I wish I had their minds
2019: im majoring in lego engineering
👹👺😈👿👻💀☠️👽😆😝😜😛😋🤮😠👿😈🤧😷😓
That...
Looks...
AWESOME!!!
This is so brilliant!!!
