Is parking fairly obvious there? Do you have trail recommendations? Traveling with two tweens!

+Sarah Gehrsitz there is some parking there but not enough usually. Sometimes you have to park up the road near what is called Baby Falls and walk down the road to Bald River. There is a trail there but it’s pretty long and an intermediate hike. Indian Boundary is near and it’s a very easy, short trail that goes around the lake and Indian Boundary is beautiful. There are many trails in Cherokee National Forest but it just depends on how hard of a trail as to what I could recommend.

+Timothy Beasley Yes you can actually swim right in front of the falls when there hasn’t been too much rain. Or there are several areas to pull over roadside on the way to the falls. Another option is right outside of Tellico a few miles down the road at an area us locals call The Beach. When there hasn’t been too much rain, it’s very clear and pretty calm.
