Thank you! I prefer it for a lot of messaging, but If I want to run heavy apps I'd definitely go with the PRIV or Passport. But I have to get a passport to check that out ;)

I think you'll be able to use it and stay productive for at least 1,5 to 2 years. I think after 2016 whatsapp will still work but just won't get any updates. If you need the newest of the newest, you can use the android whatsapp without a problem.

+sirgarrykay I use the q10 as my daily driver, because of its small and compact form factor and built quality. I don't mind the smaller display because of my small hands. I don't use snapchat on my blackberry. Only on my iPad at home :)

+Gersiaan2 I think most of the 2.x versions should work too. I've tried several and 1.7 was the one i sticked to. It just worked extremely snappy and that's when I was satisfied :) I don't think it's outdated since I only use spotify to download playlists and listen to them. That version does exactly that :)

im hanging on to my passport but keep seeing stories that BB os10 is ending. story today on The Verge that Senate staffers in the US will no longer be issued bb smartphones. it references a letter issued by BB that states production for all BB10 phones has been discontinued. Hey this is only true with whatsapp. But you can still use Facebook via FACE10. Nemory studios just released an app for whatsapp after june which is called WhatsUp10
I think you should do a video about switching from iPhone and or android devices do BB. Including each avantages : cost, productivity, no distractions bulsh*t, get the work done !! :)

Dont go for DTEK50, even by mistake. its a low to mid range android phone with a shitty camera.

They are quite similar, the classics is much bigger tho. So it's much more comfortable to type on for many ;)

those apps should still be updated. Whatsapp will be discontinued in 2017 on bb10 but nemory is currently developing a client for it!
So there's no cloud service? Can I still use Google drive to save photos?
There is an app called Playcloud that allows you just that :)

I don't think that i could make it any slower, since there aren't any more steps.. Any way, you are now able to use the bb whatsapp till june 2017 :)

Hey this is only true with whatsapp. But you can still use Facebook via FACE10. Nemory studios just released an app for whatsapp after june which is called WhatsUp10
