They don't even bother to try solving problems that needs the cooperation of the people, we don't really bother taking it seriously either, because a lot of us have the tendency to ignore the problem in hopes of it fading away.
I just wanted to point out that most of our pre-colonial traditions have already ceased to exist due to constant colonizations and that the south koreans are sexually active but simply hide this because it makes them look immoral(or some shit like that), and just because they're sexually active doesn't mean it's for the birthrate, and birthcontrol is fairly easy to get hands on, a child born out of wedlock is looked very down upon, just like a lot of asian countries.

No ones sees that. The people most opprressed in the decades which are the farmers and the fisherfolks are thanking him, and you the privileged ones are crying for oppression.
