@troysgarage I done several all seem to be that badly rusted my new project is 76 f250 4wd. AKA HIGH BOY previous owner layed galvanized tin over top of driver side floor cab mount was full mud and sand. rusted out clear above pinch weld had to pull steering column brake booster fuse box almost done have lower front pillar left to patch..
@ronclaman156 wow! Most would have called it too much to repair and scrapped it. I applaud your efforts for saving this from that fate! I’m still learning all this stuff. More practice coming. I have my eye on a few more projects but gotta clear the slate of existing projects first. Wish I had more property and a MUCH bigger workspace! 🫤
Check out Eastwood’s internal frame coating paint to get into the areas that are hard to reach. I used it in my front cab mounts, so far it’s holding up well

Was there a followup to this video? Was looking forward to seeing the new floor pan put in. Just cut out the floor pans in my son's 77 Ford Stepside and getting ready to put in the new ones.After that its time to do both in my 79 Bronco! It's always fun to learn new things. Enjoying your videos!

I haven’t had to go into the pillars before. Cab mounts yes (doing that on a project as we speak).
