5 (7) song favs (that you haven’t reacted to) Brother in Arms, Take Me Home Country Roads, Cover Me Up, Love Train, Helplessly Hoping, Can’t Stop the Feeling, Country Fried Pop.
This is simply excellent again!! I have been a fan of the Doobie Brothers for a long time. This song is just timeless. It still swings. Really something for Home Free. So great sung, so great harmonies, bone-feeling bass, But for me it's Adam who makes it truly phenomenal. He nailed it. The vocal percussion is just inhumane. So unbelievably good. For me the very best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/mouth artist there is.
In no particular order-Helplessly Hoping, Do You Hear What I Hear, Listen to the Music, My Church, Blue Ain't Your Color. This changes regularly, depending on what sort of mood I'm in! Thanks for reacting to this one!
Great reaction thinking out loud/Lets get it on mash up, brothers in arms, Endlessly Hoping, Do you hear what I hear, American Pie with Don McLean and so many more to here all great.
The high ethereal sounds= Adam Rupp. Try their Guilty Pleasures - Hilariously Derailed. Everyone gets to sing their fav song. Adam takes it up several notches.
"All about that bass," " good ol country harmony," " everything will be okay," "house party," " Cant stop the feeling," " between a rock and a heartache"
Adam is insanely talented. The things and the sounds that come out of him is phenomenal. They all killed it but i agree, Adam is the mvp of this one. My 5 favorites are hillbilly bone, mayday, catch me if you can, cant outrun you, and snapback. Wow that was hard , because i love them all.
Their covers are fire! They always add their spin to it. They are all so extremely talented. Love your reaction! #HOMEFREE When a Man Loves a Woman End of The Road One Voice Delta Dawn Man of Constant Sorrow
I love all their videos and this one's no exception. As always the singing & harmonies are terrific and Adam's crazy beatboxing is the icing on the cake. Thanks for playing my favourite band (of any genre). Another real banger is Austin's original "Rest of My Life" (on his channel). Watch "9-5 + beatboxing breakdown" for real surprises!
I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds.
This one is in my top 5 of HF covers. Youve already reacted to some of mine, so: Folsom Prison Blues Do You Hear What I Hear (be sure to listen to the guys at the end about the arrangement of the song) In The Blood Spaceship (it doesn't get played often enough, IMHO) Between a Rock and a Heartache
Loved the original 50 years ago. Love this one today. Adam!!!!!!!! And I swear Tim has a standing bass inside his shirt. Only five favorites? Really???? Do You Hear What I Hear, Listen to the Music, Playing With Fire, Stand By Me, Mayday.
Adam Rupp really lets rip on this one and I love it! Really hard to get it down to just 5, and you've already reacted to some of my favourites, but I would definitely recommend Colder Weather (the most recent version from last year), Catch Me If You Can, Everybody Walking This Land, Blue Ain't Your Colour and So Long Dixie.
5 more that I remembered after reading the comments. Some Girls Do, In The Blood, I Can’t Out Run You, Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA (not the older one), & my all time favorite is Do You Hear What I Hear (Xmas song so save for holidays? - There are more than enough to keep you busy & excited!) 💜💜💜
may day, man of constant worrow, sing off - ring of fire, end of the road, and snow globe. their are so many more. thinking out loud comes to mind. all of their stuff is great.
one of their best covers ! My 5 favorites...new version of "I want Crazy", new version of "Colder Weather", "Hekplessly Hoping", "The Driver", & (their original) "Dive Bar Saints" honorable mention "Finally Free"
Wow narrow it down to 5 was a lot harder then I thought it would be... but here goes in no particular order...listen to the music, how great thou art, in the blood, mayday, and Love Train. But it might change in an hour. I truely enjoy these guys and luv all their stuff. I've seen them in concert 6 times and they never disappoint. 🤙
Great reaction to such a fun, upbeat song! #HomeFree never disappoints! Stand By Me Take Me Home Country Roads I Can’t Outrun You One Man Band Castle on the Hill
Another foot stomping ,floor, wall and bleacher vibrating when done in concert! Being in front of those speakers when Tim let's loose! Hearing aides haven't recovered, it's been a few years!
Tom !!...if you like the vocal percussion by Adam Rupp..check out the soaring notes at the beginning and end.. THAT'S ADAM !!...at 3:38 Adam on the right back of the group..you can see he's doing the notes... 🌿🌿🌿
They did this as part of their encore on tour the last few months! With a beatbox breakdown where all five of them performed. In addition to the beatboxing, Adam carries the high tone during part of the song. 5 favorite of what style? Harmonies - How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High (Church Sessions version), Amazing Grace (with Peter Hollens), Helplessly Hoping, I can't Outrun You, Angels we Have Heard or What Child is This with Chris Rupp. For each of the guys (3 each) - Tim: Brothers in Arms (w/ Chance), What we Aint' Got, or I've Seen. Chance: I can't Outrun You, Cover Me Up, Dive Bar Saints Rob: Honey I'm Good, Go Rest High, Dreamer. Austin: When a Man, Don't it Feel Good (no official video, you can listen to the album cut or watch a fan video th-cam.com/video/0d7-t1aXjAs/w-d-xo.html), Playing with Fire. Adam: Ain't Going Down, Listen to the Music, Workin' for a Livin'. Love songs: When a Man Loves a Woman, Cover me Up, Stargazer Trilogy (counts as one song, right?), I've Seen (the new version is a bit better than the old one), Amazed or All on Me. Quarantine videos: Quarantine, Down to the Honky Tonk, Meet in the Middle, Never Gonna Give you Up, I Swear or Make You Love Me. with funny/silly/cute videos: This is how we Roll, All About that Bass, When will I be Loved, Brother, Butts Medley written by/with Jeffrey East: Love me Like That, Why Not, People, Understand, Playing W/ Fire. I'd give you a list of 'written by/with Tim ' and one for Austin, but I don't have those set up, yet.
Because I have so many favorites, I'll pick some that others haven't mentioned: Fishin in the Dark/Boondocks mashup; their collab with Kenny Rogers, Children Go Where I Send Thee; their original, Catch Me If You Can; covers of I Can't Outrun You and Cover Me Up, both led by Chance. Also love their covers of Ain't Goin Down Till the Sun Comes Up (available only on their Facebook page); Wake Me Up (Avicii), Try Everything, and Bye-Bye-Bye.
I so enjoy your reactions! Keep up the great work (and home free!!). My top 5: In The Blood, Helplessly Hoping, Go Rest High On That Mountain (church sessions version), So Long Dixie, What We Aint Got. Also - check out some solo Tim Foust and/or Adam Chance, and their collabs with The Hound and the Fox or Peter Hollens. (Lol - just saw you did one, watching now)
"Can't Stop The Feeling", "Workin' For A Livin'", "Elvira", "Fishin' In The Dark/Boondocks" and "All About That Bass" are awesome. Apologies if you have already done some of those. "Mayday" might shock you if you aren't ready for it, but save that for later.
All the guys did great, but Adam shone bright! Only five favorites? That's hard! Brothers In Arms, Colder Weather, Do You Hear What I Hear, Hillbilly Bone, Mayday, Love Me Like That, In The Blood, Brother, Stand By Me, O Holy Night. (Yeah, I know that was 10, but I think I still missed a few favorites!) Edit: forgot Sea Shanty Medley, Skull And Bones. I'm sure there's others I missed!
This is one of my wake up songs. I dare anyone to listen to this song and not smile. Austin is singing lead but Adam Rupp goes wild. Glad you liked it. Great reaction.
