Shattered my right wrist last month casing a jump and needed surgery (a plate and 8 screws). The cast just came off a few days ago and at this point the possibility of riding a motorcycle any time soon feels like a pipe dream. I’m no spring chicken at 47 so healing could be a little slower. I have a Mobius X8 wrist brace coming in the mail and your review has reinforced that I have made a good purchase decision ha ha. I am hoping that it will enable me to casually ride my mountain bike and with any luck help me to transition back onto the dirtbike. Thanks again 👍
Can you wear this on a gauntlet street race glove? I broke my wrist on a sport bike and I ride track. Wondering if this would work over thicker gloves and not just thin shorty gloves. Thanks!
nice idea but as you said movements limitation is a concern for me, Just had twisted wrist and wondering what to get to on track sooner. How long your recovery lasted?

Great video. Im lookib to get one for my right wrist. Was your brace maxed out ROM, 70 degrees? or was it on the tighter side, with less ROM. I struggle with throttle control when It gets rough, so im curious if a tighter ROM would mitigate the amount of twist of throttle. Like can you fully twist it even with the brace set at least amount of ROM? thanks dude
Glad it was helpful. Botting out refers to when your suspension/motorcycle reaches the end of the compression and hits the hard stop forcing a hard jolt/impact to your body. The braces are designed to prevent your wrists from over-extending or receiving hard impacts.
Nick, I used to wear the Allsports Dynamics wrist brace a couple years ago. That's a well made brace, but it seemed to be a lot more rigid than the Mobius. You have to get them custom made if you want them to work properly. If you compare the sizing, the structure, and the price between AllSports Dynamic & Mobius X8... I would choose the Mobius wrist brace. Thanks for watching!

Yes mcskillby, this would be a great brace for a BMX rider. Your Dr. can write you a prescription for these so all you have to pay is your medical insurance deductible. It;s a great deal for the best protection. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Hello, that tester is no longer with the company. wee have not heard of nay issues with it hindering performance.
Is there a stoping limit from going downward?
Yes, this has a lock-out for each direction. Learn more here: th-cam.com/video/hsqoNcYy16I/w-d-xo.html - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team
There is a limit but non-adjustable.
Hello, this video helped a lot. What did you mean by “bottoming out”, and how did the brace and your wrist effected? Thank you.

Great review, helps in the decision making. It's between this brace and the allsport dynamics brace. Have you tried that one as yet?
