RCI Admission Open 2024 - Diploma in Indian Sign Language Interpretation (DISLI) at CRC, Jaipur

Great news to share with you all!
The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India, led by Secretary Rajesh Agrawal, IAS, is keen on visiting various places across Indian states to assess and update the situation of persons with disabilities over the next two years. He has met with the deaf community to discuss their challenges and potential solutions. The key issues highlighted include:
1. Lack of quality in deaf schools in India.
2. Inadequate availability of interpreters in India.
3. Challenges in obtaining government jobs.
4. Difficulties faced by the deaf in reading and writing in English.
The Secretary is committed to addressing these issues and has ordered his staff to hold an urgent meeting to initiate a course for a diploma in Indian Sign Language Interpretation at institutes under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India. There are 30 such institutes across India.
Exciting news: One of these institutes has been established in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, also known as the Pink City. This institute, CRC Jaipur, is located in Jamdoli near ICFAI University, Agra Road, Jaipur.
