I'm 100% sure anxiety, stress and depression is the trigger of Vss

Hello first! I have vss for 7-8 months. You seem to have done more research than I did. I have some questions for you and it may be long. I would be glad if you answer my questions here or on Instagram. Of course, when you have time. You don't need to answer right away. I could not fully understand the video because I do not speak English. Have a nice day! :)

Am happy to help answer any questions on Instagram as TH-cam comments is very small. @darrenmooten is my Instagram. My friend and I read all scientific literature and speak to the experts to help build up our knowledge

@@darrenmooten7604 I follow you on Instagram anyway :) I will ask questions when I feel ready to speak. Psychologically I need to calm down a bit. Thanks again.

Good video. I have pretty much every symptom on the list except dont see static in the day so thats a good thing. Its really annoying but I dont let it affect me and I still carry on.

i'm opposite i don't have many symptoms but my static is very invasive. Not sure if i would rather less static in exchange for another symptom

    Nevermind Darren,
I removed my old comment, Andrew later said he believes its thalamocortical dysrthymia being the cause and that's what I believe as well,
Thalamocortical dysrthymia has been shown to cause tinnitus and even visual snow (there are researches you can look for)
And the interesting thing to me, that hearing loss (either through loud noise, ototoxic medications or even viral infections) has been shown to cause thalamocortical dysrthymia which then causes tinnitus and Visual snow
The most interesting thing EVER is that I had acoustic trauma that lasted about 3 hours which then developed tinnitus immediately followed by the whole visual snow syndrome shortly & even the next most interesting thing that I recovered a portion of my hearing after taking steroids (in acute phase but was severely underdosed) that the TINNITUS AND THE VISUAL SNOW INTENSITY decreased significantly.
Ear has to be a culprit over here, but bear in my mind I don't mean all sufferers of VSS is due to ear issues but a quite chunk of them "especially" who developed it later in early adulthood got it after hearing loss, (I have a Russian girl that I know who got tinnitus and VSS after her first ever concert after blasting her ears with loud noise, it was stable for more than a year for her and when she took an ototoxic medication, tinnitus ramped up followed by more severe form of VSS, I also got mine after my first ever acoustic trauma, I never liked music and always lived in silence.)
the good news is that ear medicine is getting more advanced than ever and if the clinical medications to restore hearing prove to be working well, I guess you will hear a lot of people have re-emission from tinnitus and VSS as well.
Next February will be my first year into this.

I had grommets as a child so I have slight hearing loss anyway scared eardrum, however, I got strep throat in 2019 in May 6 months after that i noticed the static, it is a weird syndrome! yes, I believe Thalamocortical dysrhythmia as it's associated with many other brain disorders but there is a sheet wrapped around the thalamus called the reticular nucleus this may be the issue. what is that a GABA sheet of neurons that communicate with the thalamus only, it rather complex, google what it does if your more interested
