My favourite part of the series was on building your meal plan with the 3 colour challenge and the chart you can fill in the foods you want to eat for the week (very helpful). The one thing I learned was about the different labels food have and what they mean. Although I'm in Canada, it was still interesting to learn about American labelling. Will have to research on the Canadian equivalents of these on my own. Awesome series and you definitely inspired me to get in the kitchen and become more creative in my meals. It's now a new love of mine to cook!

I will admit, I seen 23mins and thought, " Eh, too much info!" BUT, I ended up watching it TWICE!! And taking lots of notes, I really needed this, I thought I was the only one who couldn't bare to eat the same thing over and over without just giving up and pitching everything!! The chicken kabobs and separating the flavors is genius!! I am a visual person, out of sight out of mind should have a picture of me next to it, so I would love to see how you prepare/decide on the best seasonings for meals/meats. Thanks for all your help :)

I think your series was absolutely amazing! I personally get overwhelmed sometimes with all the food options, and prepping but your series has great tips and tricks for organizing yourself, to cooking, and prepping. I think you covered all aspects from cleaning out the kitchen, what you should have in your kitchen, to how to shop at the grocery store, to prepping. I stumbled upon your channel just browsing through looking for motivation, inspiration, and easy to follow recipes, tips, and tricks and now you are my go to guy!!! Thank you for sharing all that you have learned over the years it is truly helpful to me and I'm sure helpful to others. You are always so pleasant, smiling and playful in your videos which is sooooo warm and welcoming, and you are one good piece of eye candy

Loved the series! Everything was very helpful. One thing that stood out to me is your tip on starting your meal prep journey by prepping the meal you would normally grab something unhealthy in. I usually prep lunch or dinner but sweets are my downfall every day! Haha definitely doing more healthy desert prep!! Thanks Kevin!

loved the whole series!!! so so so informational- I learned tons! I loved how you told us about Choose My Plate and even more intensive the different formulas, your explanation of microwaves and the debate about them- you provided us so many different visuals and examples so all types of learners could understand- every single aspect was awesome from the music to the content to the style . Totally awesome
I literally sat there taking notes and have begun because you just told me practically everything I needed to know from food storage times to how often I should do what
one tip that came to mind about thinking of meal planning ideas is to have a few restaurant menus on hand! They help you figure out what you "want to order for the week" except you are making it and it may be healthier/fresher and probably more affordable/efficient

Well just finished part 4 and got to say this whole series has helped me a lot.
One of the main reasons I fail at my diet is getting bored and going for the easy fast food option and end up getting fatter lol, but I can honestly say that I think after finding your vids and websites I will be in much better shape to stick to my diet and finally fit into all those clothes in the wardrobe that don't fit anymore. Thanks Kevin, your a legend.

Amazing video! Very professional, organized and informative.. makes me want to start meal prepping right now! My favorite part was showing how to cook chicken in three seasonings at the same time. I'd really love to see more tips and tricks like this for cooking things with multiple flavors at once to have a good variety and avoid getting bored at all costs. Thank you so much for these videos. They are helping out a lot. I was recently diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic in early December 2014, and my goal has been to lose weight and to eat in a manner that will stave off having to begin insulin. I previously had lost 50 lbs and kept it off, and since Thanksgiving, I have lost almost another 30. I should hit 80 lbs total in weight loss by the end of this week. I have shared your videos with friends who are also on a weight loss journey. We've loved the things like meal prep, and we all went nuts for those little zucchini mini pizza snacks. Can always use more chicken, salmon, and salad ideas.

My favorite tip was the containers. I get about 2 new containers every week. I keep my eye out for the OXO containers at homegoods, or marshalls. They are always $3-$5 cheaper than retail or amazon.
This helped me clean out the pantry big time. There was so much junk in there it wasn't funny. Now it's clean, organized, and healthy!

Absolutly fabulous video and I love the series Kevin. Very helpful especially for beginners. I've been doing this for about 7 years so I know planning is essential. I loved this video especially,it was really informative.
My goals are to just make sure I get all my macros in and to make more of a variety of foods today. I noticed the chicken skewers and you weighing the chicken before cooking. I've always weighed out my chicken after it's cooked as I've noticed a big difference before and after. That's how my old trainer taught me.

Totally amazing information!!! my favorite section of this video is that you added the microwave information and the plastic container information. Sometimes we are not conscious of those issues, but by informing us you make us aware or answering our questions. Also, thank you for mentioning different cooking equipment aside from the microwave. I'm not sure if you have a video, I have not checked, but maybe a video of you using different cooking equipment such as the conventional oven, double broiler, induction heater, or electric kettle broiler could be useful for individuals that want to use different methods of cooking to save time!

Fantastic information! This is the meal prep 101 video I've been looking for for weeks. Definitely helps break it down so it's not so intimidating. Thank you SO much :)
