It always strikes me how much better old viritual-analogue synths sounds compared to modern ones =/
True true. I watched Ujie's Supernova presentation before that, and, it made me wonder why the Ultranova sounds weaker than all the old Novation's. Can't help myself, seems like today's audience doesn't want "character", but rather a neutral, clean, and thin sound. No idea why. The old Novation's, the Virus, and the Waldorf Q had so much character, and bang. Hope it will go into that direction again one day.
@@chakko007 the audience isn't making the gear they will like whatever is promoted the most to them. old gear does sound better
dude I had the mc 707 by roland and the synth engine sounds terrible I was shocked .. I bought a novation circuit tracks and I was shocked how amazing it was in comparison!!

I picked one of these up for about £150 about a year ago, its actually hella versatile for something so underrated and chap to buy second hand.
I really love my Novation KS 5 ...

The Novation synths sound fantastic. Had a few Nova desktop models.
Dear MusictrackJP, you offer a lot of nice vids demoing various, mostly classic synths. Why are so few offered with English captioning. It's still nice to hear these impressive machines of yesterday but Ujiie's comments must be understood in order to match his enthusiasm for any particular product. Please, make captioning in English a consideration.

yes can get nice sounds out of this, init a new patch and mess around with the three osc can get great sounds and chords

Basically v-station with double polyphony. I know, I have both! Don't really care for either but this guy reminds me it has potential.

I also have a Novation KS5 and it is quite a capable synth for what it does. Plus, the hands-on interface makes for some fun live tweaking without menu diving, and the liquid filter sounds pretty cool.
The fixed modulation routings are a bit of a bummer but other than that, it's a great little synth at affordable prices. Check my channel for some ambient demos if you get the chance. Cheers
If I have a mini nova will the ks rack add to its potiential or is the ks rack thing already built into it?

What’s the difference between the ks4/5 and this KS Rack??
KS4 is 4 octaves, KS5 is five octaves.
KS Rack has no Keyboard.

Not sounding like a B3. But it sounds like the generic electronic dance organ sound of the 90s.
