I must say that I had not considered sand texturing in this way. It turned out quite lovely. I have always used sand paper via the rolling mill but this technique in actually adding beach sand in delft clay casting gives a definite rustic or organic look. Well done and very creative! I also enjoyed the opening scenic view gathering the sand. Thank you! 😊
Beautiful . Very beautiful ring you made Ma'am, I really think your friend will be very pleased and I very much enjoyed the video and I subscribed and gave a thumbs up and "rang your bell", Bob
I love it! What a success that was. It looks wonderfully rustic, more so than I expected. In fact I may have missed you adding the air expansion vent holes and wondered whether this might have added to the success of its rustic look?
Also one more question you didn’t put air holes in did you ? Because I’ve not seen a ring come out whole like this They normally have to cut all the gold prongs that form like spikes from air holes I might try this method Because has you say nothing was wasted With the air holes tunnels I’ve seen up to 4 in most videos so that’s a lot of gold that’s not in the ring the customer gets unless they ask for all scrap left overs and you melt the them to a blob
@@LivonDesignsSilversmithing Thank you for answering :) Indeed it is, and the lip is also just the right length. Have you got the link? I can’t seem to find the same flask on eBay.
Hi there, here is the link to the one I got but I don’t use it with the square frame as that blocks the air vents. Hope that helps. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303817103447?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ITbkLSFaTku&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=d_QoJhH7Sqi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Great video, thanks! Could I ask if all you had to do to achieve that lovely finish was some buffing, or did you do some sanding aswell?

You’re absolutely right! I was so excited I forgot the vent holes. Fortunately I was very happy with the result. Thanks so much for watching x
Fantastic tutorial I do noticed that you didn’t put any air vents and it still turned out really well
You’re quite right! To be honest I forgot 😬 but it all turned out ok in the end xxx
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much I really appreciate your support x
Love it thank you so much I have a similar commission, interesting that you mixed the two golds what do they class as?
They classed them as 14ct. They seem to go to the next lower band. Thank you for your support xx

Amazing video! Where can I get the flask you're using?
Thanks so much! 😃. I got the flask from eBay. It’s very useful having the pouring hole on the side x
