Absolutely, I'd go as far to say it stands out as one of the best. There's loads of trails when you know where to look. The off piste stuff is brilliant.
@@RockGullyMTB there are a few really good trails out towards the western edge of the forest. The place just offers so much. Have you thought of doing a video solely of some of the off-piste stuff?
@@andrewedwards9415 definitely! At Hamsterley I like to mix the graded trails and the off piste for a more varied ride. I've covered some off piste trails in different videos, but that's a good idea for a possible future video 🤔
Thanks mate 👍 yeah it was a bit shakey in places, I've since tightened the chest mount straps and repositioned it, which has helped. Also want to invest in a Hero9 for the improved stability. Great place to ride 😁
Love the channel would love to do some if your rides, any idea why when I click the strava link it just takes me to your homepage but doesn't show the map of the actual route? I'm I doing something wrong?
Thanks Mark 🙂 you're not doing anything wrong, it's just a link to my strava front page. If you let me know which rides you want to do, I can reply with the direct link
@@RockGullyMTB thanks it was the Rosedale single-track and the Hamsterley ride big decents, not used strava yet so just getting head round it I couldn't find a way to find your rides from the homepage probably need to out the laptop on, cheers
Thank God I see this going up that way for a weeks holiday
Nice mate. Lots of trails to try out. Enjoy it 👍
There are some great trails at Hamsterley. The off-piste stuff especially.

Yeah never been. Need to get it on the to do list 👍
Do it mate! The red and black stuff is great, but some of the off-piste is even better 😁
Great video .is the moorland bit part of the trails or did you just add it on . Hamsterley is one of my rides for the near future
Thanks mate! Yeah the moorland is not part of the official trail but it's perfectly legal to ride. Some cracking riding to be had at Hamsterley 👍
Nice one mate... Hypersmooth was battling in a few places there... Hammers is a fun jam... :D

Nice trail ride 🤘🏼
Thanks man 👍 it was good fun
At the end of each section is their signs to point you in the right direction to wherever you want to go? Like back to car park or other trails
There's usually a post at the start of each trail. If you've never been before, I'd recommend following the trail map
