this man is singlehandedly the best settlement youtuber on the platform, his voice makes the videos even better, and even the other videos like the editorials are also amazing, seriously, great job 5:18 theyre just procreating edit: these videos also make me want to update my settlement builds as theyre garbage
I can't stay quiet any longer. No he's not. His voicework is smooth enough but, all of the following channels have much better builds (even without mods) and / or videos; Kortgaminggg, spoonerdee, NoModMaster, Benson Yee, Lady Imperatrix, PhoenixEmbrace, Alhoon Gaming, DigiTal Nomad, Fiddleflaps Vids, Fallout 4 Play Build Collect, Thunderfish 2
THIS is another beyond epic build! I love this! I really like unique settlement builds! Very cool! Well done! I would have created a Saloon, a Trading Post, & a Mail Office like they had back in the western days!
As someone who just got into the game not too long ago its nice to see someone put out these settlement building vids even after soo long. Theyve been giving me lots of ideas. Usually I just build several turrets and guard posts around each of the spawn points and then build a huge several story wooden housing with a huge rooftop garden off in the corner. My thinking is if an attack does happen theres less people and crops in the crossfire. Aint much but it keeps em mostly happy. Also doubles as a great vassal settlement. Speaking of which Im curious if you ever plan to do builds for raider outposts. I figured thered be much less work but now Im stuck trying to find and build good places to put beds, shops, etc.
I'm trying to get more crafty with my builds (I was never good at them) and this gave me such great tips. I actually like my Jamaica Plain and I got to get a little creative too. Thanks dude!
Pretty cool idea with the build. The only thing using your theme I would have done differently is your cabin A I would have kept some of the original furnishings and made it a doctors office. You even mentioned it as the last stop off before Nuka World in survival. It would be great to get rid of any diseases etc. with a doc in town.
So many settlements remind me of a quote from 13th Warrior.... "No wall. No moat. Not even a presentable fence. You couldn't keep a cow out of this place"
Looks fabulous! Love the Water Tower :) For the cabin with no wall? I use for my eyebot. Works great. Even tho there is no wall? it always goes thru the actual wall. lol
So funny thing for me this settlement is always attacked by 1 pa raider w/pipe weapon, 2 raiders w/MISSILE LAUNCHERS and 1 raider w/random weapon. This happens so often that I have 165+ missile launchers that I can use to expand build space at settlements.
I really like your settlement building videos! Very inspirational :) I have wondering about this thing many fallout youtubers do, the thing with no mods or cheats? Is that just a personal taste or is it a big thing for people into fallout? Asking just for curiosity :) I use a lot of cheats and mods, I hope thats ok :)
how you like to play is your business, it's just personal preference. I like my games to be un-modded, and it adds a bit of challenge to have to work within the confines of a system defined by fallout 4 as it was designed. that approach doesn't appeal to everyone, and I recognize that.
@@Theegreygaming Thanks for answering :) I almost thought there was a war between vanilla/modders/cheaters! And I enjoy your videos very much regardless :) I first discovered Fallout about 1-2 years ago and got very hooked. I love the freedom that you can use the game in so many ways, just not follow a story and then its done. I like roam around and just exploring and build settlements, and have followers. Heather Casdin has become my best friend :) And I use cheat because I don´t like the challenge killing enemies. I kill them with 1 perfect (V.A.T.S) shot and thats it, I can go on exploring.
@@TT.Hell. the "war" between modders and vanilla players is there, but not as pronounced as with some other fandoms, I consider myself to be one of the non-militant purists, but you'd be surprised how many nasty comments pop up about people who don't use mods for some reason. those people are few and far between though, the Fallout fandom is a pretty chill crowd.
Oooh, Pankcake Flat house. Made from thin wooden walls and heavy concrete floors and ceilings. I like it. lol...... 2:05 🥞Sorry 😇 I think that joke feels a little squished and flattened.
dead bodies are what prevents me from using the cabins, because the bodies always come back. i don't know why Bethesda didn't add a option that gets rid of dead things in the game.
Eschewing use of 'select all' to move the barn door over and into place owing to such conceivably not being considered the province of the novitiate, might have meant missing out on a tangible win (helped along by way of a deck concealing the unscrapable ground door. The loft space was inspired. Some wire-wood floor filling in the gap on the one side with a gap, and lots of boxes and Far Harbour crates populating it up there, really would bring the whole place together.
@@NunYaa504 it's actually an intentional game mechanic. there are a lot of containers that might be full of weapons and armor when you scrap a settlement, not to mention actual weapons and armor sitting around. if they prevented you from scrapping unless you dealt with them it really messes with the pacing, especially since you can scrap weapons and armor at crafting stations anyway so they just kept it as a feature in the workshop. a lot of people consider it a glitch (I get tons of negative comments on my first tips and tricks video), but it's just using an intentionally available mechanic in a manner that it probably wasn't intended to be used.
@@Theegreygaming wooow thanks for that tip definitely going to do it when I play again I had a good shanty town going on spectacle but ran out of room and I didn’t want to Do the “Build more” Mod on a series X because insider want the game crashing out,
Sunshine Tidings Co-op is a great place for building. In my Minute Man run, I turned it into a Minute Man training ground.
Nice pfp
@@saintpepsi5303 haha. Right back at you.
Oh that’s actually a really cool idea, all I did was turn it into a massive mutfruit plantation

that was the original intention but after the barracks and stable office was done... I sort of ran out of space...

I enjoy your content ❤
This is a stellar build. I’ve been trying to run power into the cabins but I don’t think it’s possible.
Use the wire glitch
How did you get the colour lights?
the're sort of hidden, instead of under the lights directory they are under power>misc.

So far Ijust have the basic game so where do I find the barn set and warehouse sets as well as the concrete construction?
all were added to the game later with DLC, you need the wasteland workshop and far harbor dlc

Question for you what faction did you side with? I know it’s not the BOS but I’m just curious
for the character I use on all of these builds, the railroad, but I have characters that have sided with each.

Demon weight lifters 😂
Concrete at 08:00.
took EIGHT minutes? Unacceptable.

I some times fill bad about liking but not this time 69 BABY. Grey sure earns it but if it is at 69 it is so hard
Such a beautiful bar shamefully destroyed with those horrible vault railings...
Sunshine tidings ... "floating structure" .. concrete half tall will slip in or else use a metal mesh floor
Cabben can be srcap wit a mod sts and uso
Is this on PC? On console there’s no way to get this built without running out of build space on vanilla
just throw a bunch of modded weapons on the ground and store them using the workshop, it increases the build ceiling.
