I've always wanted to see more competitive maps from you guys. It's nice to see some featured at last, as they're what I like to Forge.
I really want to give a thumbs up to THFE, I have been a subscriber from the very start, and I have been so happy to see your content just get cooler and cooler. Also, I start noticing now that your material is some of the most downloaded maps every week! Great jobs guys, keep up with the cool maps and tutorials!

@Devalleytruth This got top comment... looks like i'll need to reply to this one. Psycho has had almost no recording experience before this video. So when I heard him, I saw great potential. He even has a great history for forging amazing competitive maps (he made Cargo Port!), but I had no thought of him being boring. Also, 90% of our maps are mini games, so I don't think it's fair to judge our skill based off of just that.
Sweet! Psychoduck has joined THFE. 1st off big fan of the show, I love mini games, Infection, Invasion, but I always thought the one thing that was missing from the channel was competitive maps: psyched for the future. I would love to play some playtests with you guys some time; especially on that port authority map which looks absolutely awesome. Oh, and what ever happened to that scimitar map by the way? I saw the preview ages back and was highly anticipating its release.

@xDarkxAssasinx I don't blame you if you don't want to post it on forgehub. Post it on xforgery, it would probably get a better chance of a feature for that reason anyway. You could even post it on halo waypoint if you wanted. Basically anything forum based that can show a few screenshots.

TU Slayers stands for title update slayer. If you will recall there was a title update for Halo Reach.
@sharpshooter740 If you put a neutral respawn zone over the entire map, it will erase the affects of any team respawn zones, thus allowing eithe team to spawn anywhere on the map. Weak respawn zones and aniti-respawn zones will be unaffected though. Of course having no team spawn zones in the first place would result in dynamic spawning as well.

@boondocksaint039 I originally did a take where I flew around and showed every power weapon and every location. The video was about 8 minutes long, and really boring. If you wanna know where the weapons are, just look at the Forgehub thread. I can't get into every tiny detail of a map in a video.
@OMFGItsBlaze There are flaws in everything you said. Spawns were never bad, and a recent update to the map has made them great. The weapon placement is quite well-balanced, and well thought out. Sightlines are also well engineered, and top control is not at all overpowered, particularly with the wraith's ability to shoot up to the upper levels. Come on Blaze, you should know the difference between having a bad game on a good map, and playing a bad map by now.

@chris030111 thats a good thing, 343 should ask what 3 maps should be added every week or somin. theres loads of maps that could make a big diffrence to matchmaking to make it more fun
@Psychoduckify I may have played an early version but I was constantly spawning badly behind the middle building toward the shore. It could not have been a bad game as I believe I would have went close to 10 positive. The window with the crates under it was a deadly route and if there was someone up there, there was NO way you were getting through. Maybe if the window was placed off of that line of sight.
@Psychoduckify There are plenty of line of sights that you cannot get across unnoticed. Leaving you in a total choke point with no cover so you have to blindly run from point a to point b.

@DominoAFC true and that's why they did a servay on reach for halo 4 to see what maps ppl like. It takes a lot of processing power and time to do that tho. 343 watch forgehub instead and get maps from there

@themegashyguy Team slayer is just standard slayer with teams enabled, friend. Not a different gametype. Of course I'd suggest picking up matchmaking variants of team slayer instead.
@05yoda Nah, but he's quite decent with the DMR. And he doesn't get grenade owned instantly with the wraith so I would define him as 'good at halo' :)
@Dazb2012 They used to have Community Slayer wich was when forged maps by the community get on matchmaing but they stopped it :/

he was good i just missed him showing the power wepons and running through the maps......

are there any video games with a gun like the DMR for PC other than halo 2 or fallout those are just similar and i've always wanted a gun like the DMR ever since i saw it though no xbox

@themegashyguy The easiest thing to do is just to play matchmaking, and then save the gametypes from your temporary history

Conect your xbox to your account. if thats doesn't work just write down the map name, and who created it, and custom search it, always works for me...

@TheHaloForgeEpidemic Well I have no doubt about that's he's a good forger! It's that he sounds really bored to talk about the map which makes it uninteresting to listen to. For the other part, I think I mixed you guys with some other forgers that almost only make competitive maps and then shows gameplay where they get owned constantly :p

really i didn't hear anything when i gave A DIFFERENT comment a thumbs up............. hmm.
I remember playing this a bunch of times. It was honestly very bad gameplay filled with loads of bad spawns, iffy weapon placements and too many line of sights that had no cuts.. Top control was way to over powered and it just wasn't fun. :/

Played it, some weird but fun things happend, i whas juts picking off some guys and i see no enemies, i walk to the teleporter and BOOM random 8 red guys spawn in front of me. :P
