I have the same fixed blade! Never seen another one like it. Mine is just like your original,no saw blade on the back edge. I got mine in 1966. A friend made a fancy leather tooled scabbed for me. Thanks for showing us yours.
I got several of them knives and most everything from that time gone by boy scout camping day's in the 70's and 80's I'm glad you care enough to save them my brother and old George is a good friend of mine to lol lol he's a pretty cool nut

No, they would not. I was in a play, Oklahoma, in 6th grade. Took my BB rifle to school as a prop for the play. I did a video on that, my first BB gun, forgot to tell that story!
Had a couple of Boy Scout knives when I was a kid a scout knife and a whittling knife have replaced those still have the Plumb hatchet with the scout insignia stamped on it also have a 3/4 axe that I got at a scout store those aren’t going anywhere
Hello, I was recently scrolling through Ebay looking at knife lots, found one of that same knife but without the serrations, thought back to this video and figured you might be interested in the bunch, as clicking on random links is never the best idea, I'll leave the name of the seller, Bay State Tackle, the listing is called "Lot of vintage Knives", not sure if it would be of any interest, but saying something seems better than not, going for $40 with $6.15 shipping at the moment.
Greetings ,cool ! I found a knife similar . In an elevator pit . New building after a redo on some floors ( prob from carpet layers ) hope it was not sentimental value to someone … when I was new to the trade I was asked to clean out a old turn of the old century 1900 department store ( different building) . Found lots of old coins 1800’s ( I was an apprentice elevator man n told to clean pits n paint that day … nobody told me that it was a dirt pit !!! I was digging my way to China… lo may be a foot ( but ground was hard) ( I heard a bout that for a long time ( but kept my mouth closed bout the money ( cause I wanted to go back))) . Never did .. because of circumstances.
Same thing happened to me to buddy I was born in 1969 you little older than me but I started eBay journey to finding all I had I even started buying old vintage daisy red Ryder bb guns and restoring them model 94 's model 111/ model 40's and 1938 red Ryder carbines I did all this stuff when I was a kid to
That’s awesome! My Dad and I used to go to the international airgun show every year in NC and VA. I have a Beeman R1 I bought there. LOVE Red Ryders and all the old air guns. I still have my first BB gun I’ll make a note to do a video on it!

i have that pocket knife as well but its beat up the blades have that dark grayish color to them
mine did have the teeth either
i have 89 buck 110 mint and i carry a 2017 on me i like having two of each if possible
