  • This cool technique allows you to completely swap one character into another for a scene you have already created! I hope you find this helpful!

Thanks for this hint. I used saved shape and material presets to get that effekt, or a character subset with a pose preset, but so one needs to make those two user assets in the first place.

I did this for a classroom of kids (12 figures) saves sooooooo much time. It's been a pleasure having your tutorials for the last year gone by. Here's to 2025! (To cat: "See, told you. Didn't slur a single word.")

Completly off topic But can you make a tutorial about using hdri to light indoor scene ?

Search my tutorials, I think I have the HDRI lights you might be interested in already done.

since I am an advanced daz3d user, I would like to note one thing!
when you load a shape from another character onto your current character, keep in mind that you also have to adjust the parameters of that character...
otherwise you will have the shape of your current character + the shape of the character you loaded onto it, and you will have a mess..

I'll check that, but I didn't see that happening. Milica's shape looks like her original.

First of all, thank you very much Sir for your effort in producing these helpful videos for us and all the best for you in 2025 !... 👍👍
One question, how can I transfer a Body Shaping that I have saved as a "Shape" to other characters BUT
without changing the head shaping of the target character?

Thanks! You have a great question. My only answer that I can think of is to go to your figure in parameters, click on "actor" and scroll all the way down until you find character heads. Move the current head to 0 and then move the character you desire's head up to 100%.
