    Myles was provoked. The provocation wasn’t caught on tape. Had it been, a Pittsburgh quarterback would be out of the NFL. Myles will return, and his 8 second incident will be a blip in his future sterling career. Rudolph Mason is lucky the NFL doesn’t have his helmet recorder capture. Both men lost their tempers and professionalism - but Myles was provoked beyond Norm by Mason trying to take his helmet off, and Mason making in unacceptable utterance in his rage. These guys play a violent game at the cusp of chaos, and we saw the chaos. And - Myles was being further attacked by Mason who was attacking from behind a linesman, and continuing his verbal assault. Remember;
    Where were the referees who are supposed to end fights, none were on scene;
    What were the other 19 “professionals” on the field doing to break this up;
    This was a “perfect storm” in a very emotionally charged game. It was a collective failure, not just the failure of one player. And - the NFL based on the information it had, set an example that should keep this from happening in the future, but also needs to insure the referees more quickly and effectively intervene in fights, BECAUSE NOT ONE DID.

    Wth was point of this video, bringing up poetry was just clock bait I guess? I know he's a great player being torn between his love a poetry and football but was there ever a reconciliation of the two for him on a personal level? It wasn't portrayed that way, made it seem that the people around him coax him into believing that one (football) was more important than poetry. It Definetly looked that way before going off on tangent about passion and Warren Sapp doubting his passion for the game. Thereby evidencing that Miles Garrett at the time still had to prove his path to the NFL was one of his own design rather than the prodding of those closest to him. It seems like he still has to prove it to himself by stating "I'll show then!" Pretty unconvincing on his part. Come on director it's on you to make sure what you put together is actually coherent.

    If you watch this and really think he hit Rudolph, without hearing a racial epithet, you are a terrible judge of character.
