I’ve got a blank Pickle that’s been sitting here for a few months. I want to make my own but I’m afraid that I will ruin it, I’ve never done a kit before. I have watched TONS of videos on how to create, make and complete a reborn from head to toe. I’ve got all the supplies as well.
I’m thinking of attempting on a replica that’s already painted first that I’m not attached to so if I mess up I won’t be so emotionally hard on myself lol.
LOVE the Pickle sculpt! I have the Raya replica sculpt. She arrived completed and gently rooted, she’s gorgeous with her big dimples like I have! I used the dishwasher Modge Podge to really seal her hair inside her head and it was so hard to stare at her for 30 days while the Dishwasher Modge Podge dried and cured (it requires 27-30 days to fully dry and cure). Today is the day I can FINALLY touch her! I purchased her used on eBay for $35! Best $35 I’ve ever spent! I do want to re-seal her with DecoArt Americana Soft Touch. It definitely does work and is very smooth especially if following the mixture ingredients:
20 drops of water
1/4-1/2 teaspoon Diatomaceous Earth or corn starch (I use Diatomaceous Earth)
1-2 Tablespoon of DecoArt Americana Soft Touch
Mix very well with brush to get the fine particles mixed up with the ingredients.
Apply using a brush loaded onto a sponge in a thin layer and pounce all over (use the dry end of sponge to absorb any pooling around little creases/areas).
Let dry for 1-2 hours between each layer. Needs 2-4 + layers.
I hope this helps anyone that might want the ingredients list.

I have a replica pickle kit I’m going to reborn! You got this! Try on an inexpensive kit first, before you paint your Pickle kit!! ❤️❤️🤗🤗

I have 4 authentic babies, I’m going to be adding a few more layers of sealer on them. I have Honey by Donna Rubert (Honnie), Kyra by Eva Helland (Memberlee, granddaughter named her), Realborn Johannah by BB (Patti Mae) and my pride and joy Myloh by Laura Tuzio Ross (Zenniah/Zenn). I also have 5 PG babies that I consider to be authentic as well, they come with COA’s and can over time become collectible and worth more. I don’t care what others attempt to claim about them not being authentic, who gave those others the power and title to decide that? 🤔
One of your videos actually helped me decide to purchase a Kodi Bear rooted little Milano baby 24”. I’m patiently impatiently waiting for her to arrive soon I hope! I’m also waiting for 4 replica painted kits to arrive I purchased from auctions on eBay (roughly $30-$59 free shipping) I got another Pickle with painted hair, rooted Maggi, asleep Ruby with painted hair and Laura with painted hair. I purchased the Petya sculpt as well from eBay for $38!! She’s gorgeous!!
