Looked a nice quite campsite, enjoyed the walk around the village and the church yard, I had to look twice on the video date when I saw the Christmas decorations in the pub, 😂 !
Yes, it's quite small but never really feels crowded. It can get very windy though! We damaged a tent there once in 48 hours of howling gales 😁 I wondered what we were walking into with that pub! Very strange! 😁 Thanks for watching! Catch you soon👍

Chapel-en-le-Frith looks so lovely, I recognised some of the sites from television too. There seems to be a huge amount of history there, so I enjoyed the little snippets you shared with us. The memorial was lovely too, I wonder why the rest of the country didn't recognise and remember every soldier that played a part in the world wars. As I thought that was so lovely. Many soldiers were left disabled, depressed etc... Chapel-en-le-Frith certainly should hold their head high for taking the time and initiative for creating a very special memorial. Hi Stephen & Yhana! I've been meaning to have a more detailed explore of Chapel for a while, as the Peak Forest Tramway ran through there and I believe there are some minor traces to be seen. One for another video! 😁 The history of the town is fascinating, and I probably wouldn't have noticed how they'd done the war memorial if a gentleman we met hadn't pointed it out! Hi Sue! Yes, that little site at Combs is one of our favourite local getaways. Lovely views and a great pub to eat at just down the road! 😁 Chapel may not be the quaintest town in Derbyshire, but it was definitely interesting to have a look around👍 Must go back when the Post Office is open 😁

But after my uncle and aunt has past away, they lives in Weymouth, Dorset, we never come back, because her daugther, my Cousin, lives in Greece on the island Thasos.
