I've received orders like this (but not nearly at that total $), and it never fails that changing my terms to meet customers' requests NEVER results in positive feedback. They always mention how they're running a business so they need separate bags and blah blah blah. Thanks for not even bothering with 2 mouse clicks, bruh.
The thing is making a positive experience out of something good here and customer success is always good. We actually bag separately anyways at no charge to the guests. Like any company you have to know where to eat costs or go the extra mile
I wonder if this was one of the Pop-Up MOC orders
WOW very nice order , so many bags , but got to make the customer happy keep up the great work Ralph
Well that's a nice order. I just had one that was over 400 lots and was for just over $80. It wasn't bagged separately but it took me almost 4 hours to pull. That is really nice software you designed for your orders!
My largest lot count is 296, but the customer didn't ask to bag separately. I have had orders that asked the same thing. Nice order!
This order potentially I would use multiple flat rate boxes instead of one big box. I’ve shipped 4 flat rate boxes that was cheaper than 1 big box - usps anyway.
Shipping cost was $11.70 + $4.80 for insurance so a grand total of $16.50. I sent it in a 16" x 12" x 7" box that weighed 9lbs 15oz
@@RalphsBricks wow! Not bad - pretty dense lot
here in europe the paypal fee is refunded by law
Yeah, Adam and his please bag everything separately requests. I always add a few extras hours to the process for his orders. Can't complain about them, it just takes forever to bag those extra low quantity lots.
I saw you all over his feedback and I was going to reach out to you before hand and get your feedback but then I had a good chat with him and decided it'd be a good return customer to have.
@RalphsBricks yeah, Adam is a cool cat, always comes back for more, and is very easy to deal with. I'm surprised you went out and purchased a set to make up for the missing. Messaging him would have received a reply of not a big deal, I'm placing X orders this week, I can pick it up elsewhere. Thanks for letting me know...
Like I said, very easy to deal with.
@@BigBBricks well I was going out to Apple pick and I got all I needed in one set and I had my wife part the rest of it out so it wasn’t a big deal.
I love when my order is in separate bags 😍
Wow!! Really nice order value wise, just not a great hourly rate. High quantity lots take way more time than just pure lot count.
Any chance you could talk a little about the order/pull setup you have? It looks like you're connected to an IP and I can see you also have brickowl orders as well. Do they automatically work together or is that your personal server type setup? I'm interested in starting my own some day and the setup you have the most streamlined process for far
That's a ton of bags
396 of them actually
do you have any plans for that nifty looking plastic bag dispenser? Wouldlove to try building one
No I built it rough many years ago. I found the vlog where I showed it off for the first time ... maybe this will be of interest th-cam.com/video/pR63i9bjSnw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JBs6ddotFROM0OrS&t=606
@@RalphsBricks thanks, that helped
How do you like having your akro-mils stacked 5 high and how high do you have your bottom one off the floor?
If I were to redo the store in a bigger warehouse I'd do it 4 tall but I maximized for space so I am fine with the bending. I place a 2x3 board on the floor and place the drawers on that to space off the floor so 3" off the floor.
What software are you using to read and pull your orders? Thanks.
It's a custom program I built for my needs.
I saw my order on the computer

What did the shipping cost, Ralph? Did you estimate the cost of sales with the bags and packaging materials? Just curious. Either way a nice order.
Shipping cost was $11.70 + $4.80 for insurance so a grand total of $16.50. I sent it in a 16" x 12" x 7" box that weighed 9lbs 15oz
Oops I didn’t see your note.
Raplh do you know with absolute certainty whether I could run brickstore using a Chromebook ?
I haven’t owned a Chromebook for a couple of years but I couldn’t get it to install
@@RalphsBricks thanks Ralph. Yeah I’m doubting it will work on there. I’m looking for a cheap computer I can buy my sorters to use brickstore to identify parts with the camera function
@@Gazelle0078 some barebones windows laptops cost as much as a Chromebook if do that if I was buying
Now I know why you come here to Australia.😀👍
Yeah, for work!
