Funny memes aside, the fuck was this ending except for bad sequel bait. You lose whether you were on the side of ANR or Alliance. A good Alliance ending would have been Armin going into paths to debate Eren about why he should stand down using logic but instead, Armin had barely any character during the timeskip and had godlike levels of persuasive ability. ANR got a half measure with the 80% along with the fact that the outside world still wipe out Paradis, what was the fucking point of this story.
Problem is, if that happened, eren would literally win the argument as he is more logical lmao. The possibility of peace that the alliance fights for is impossible and eren knows this since he literally saw the future. All eren has to do is... well, tell armin lmao. And then it would have to be the alliance who either stand down or join him instead of fight him.
