The eq panning trick is one hell of a trick. I use filters on my modular synths to make spectral panning, but never thought about making it in a mix context with a non synth sound.
Also the eq tuning trick is super easy in almost all of the melda eqs (including the free one). They all have a add harmonics function and then if you double click a frequency parameter you can set it to a not on a keyboard. Just add as many harmonics and add more or take out as needed.
That eq panning trick is actually even easier in Logic then is shown here. You can just load the eq plugin on a stereo tracks in dual mono mode and then adjust the left or right to taste. No duplicating needed.
✨️ Hot DAMN! I RARELY learn anything new from mixing videos these days -- especially SHORT videos with titles like THIS one (I watch them anyway, though 😂) -- but HONESTLY, your OUT OF KEY RESONANCE TRICK was an EYE-OPENER‼️😳 I'm definitely gonna play around with THAT one, so THANK YOU for that 😉🎛 Respect! 😎👍🎶✨️
