The whole point of design should be to solve problems without creating significant new ones. That sleeping loft would be unusable due to heat. Having windows straight across from each other makes people very uncomfortable. Makes you feel like you're in a roadway. The cost is absurd. And no. NOBODY is building a 500 square foot home using "thousands and thousands of two by fours."
We need more of this! We can’t keep doing the same thing over again and wonder why it’s not working. Don’t rebuild the same type of houses in fire prone areas
Give me anxiety thinking about being inside. I generally don’t think I’m being mean but don’t you feel claustrophobic in that thing doesn’t it feel like it’s falling in on you?

200,000? He must be kidding. You can buy a plot of land else where in the U.S and build a tiny home for way cheaper
Are you new to California..?
@@magesalmanac6424 no hence the "ELSEWHERE"
@@magesalmanac6424 "elsewhere in the US" Are you new to reading?
Tents in so cal desert much cheaper.

How is it that USA is STILL using wood walls?? 🤦♂️ You can build concrete houses that can handle earthquakes in 2025 😂
Its very bad for insulation
Kanye is going to be mad if he sees this except he wanted domes 😂
Cozy future of housing? Looks like a hardened tool shed, not a home for families.
What’s better a family with a house that can withstand fires. Or a homeless family?
@@magesalmanac6424 False alternative. What's better is a better design.
Live in the pod, eat the bug, question nothing and be happy
Wood walls will burn, contrary to what this professor says, try tilt-up prefab concrete panels as an example.
Very nice 👏👏👏

have you tested the structure in fire.
Lots of wood throughout can still burn. It’s Pricey. Not fire proof.
Hemp-lime is better.
I can appreciate we need solutions but this feels very dark and closed-in. Asking people to exist happily with only 500sq feet isn’t practical.
