Loved my time in Black Forest / Germany. Stationed in Lahr just up the road from Freiburg in early ‘80s. Would like to visit again.
I was living in Titisee i went many times to Friburgo, Basel, Estrasburgo, Breisach, and a lot of towns.

Black forest is Lovely place and i have stayed in Hotel Schone Aufficht (Hornberg - in middle of black forest ).For Indians Germany and Black forest is place for peace and fresh air with few people around....

It seems as the same woods shown in the opening battle scene of Gladiator where the Holy Roman army invaded Germania (tribal land of ancient Germany).

A small correction:
Triberg waterfalls are the highest in Germany OUTSIDE the Alps. In the Alps, we have higher ones like the Röthbachfall (470m). de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_der_Wasserf%C3%A4lle_in_Deutschland#Die_zehn_h%C3%B6chsten_Wasserf%C3%A4lle
But I guess it's good for the tourism in Triberg to claim "the highest waterfalls in Germany". ;)
