I haven't been watching you because of picking cotton myself......I usually have the feeder belt trouble after the pickers been rained on.....I always clean accumulator out of any wet cotton to help prevent the plug of the feeder belt and like you said "let the hydraulics warm up.......Like always, I enjoy your video's
Can’t imagine how hard it was back when cotton was picked by hand they had to be some hardy people back then, now days I bet you couldn’t find two people to pick cotton by hand. How much does your bail of cotton weigh? Another good video Daniel.
Hi granny Daniel dad and rest of awesome crew video was beautiful plus drone was awesome never seen cotton being bales like that before learning something every day and as always you and all families be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good evening Granny, no hope all is well with you this week . Another great video Daniel. That cotton can be a pain Of course thats a quit of a machine. Glad to see your dad right after it . Take care guys !!!
I saw your lug nut. I have a 2021 GMC dealer rotated tires and a few days later one was missing. Took it back and they took care of it. Quality is lacking these days.
Hello Granny and Triple R Farms another great video glad to see the weather is in you'll favor for harvesting the rest of your crops yall be safe and see ya on the next one ✌
Good show Daniel. I wish they would develop a picker that picked the cotton clean off the plant. Would be awesome to see a completely clean field after picking.
My mother was always appalled by the cotton left on the stalk after the picker finished. In her cotton picking days, by hand of course, nothing was left. I'm 69, so you know how long ago she was in the field.
@@danwalker4391well back in the day when it was picked by hand everything was taken. These days between the costs of maintenance and fuel most of what’s left is generally small lint and not worth going back to get
Sometimes we have picked fields twice, it really depends on how much is left on the stalk because if it’s not much you’re just wasting money in fuel. Cotton pickers are not cheap to run for sure
I assume that there is good money in cotton, seen a big increase in Southeast Mo, been a lot of years since I seen that much in that area, great video, be careful climbing around on those pickers and combines, with a few on, 👍
The picker seems to have every problem that CP690 would have. Maybe this time the green belt and black belt were not good on friction to push the cotton. ❤
Good morning from Florida, Daniel. Looks like you are always running around and doing something. The drone footage looks real cool. Have a successful week.
Howdy Daniel, Granny, I hope ya'll are having a Great day, I gotta say Daniel, I've missed these longer videos, it was nice to see you post a longer video again, I remember when you regularly posted 27/28 minute long videos, really enjoyed those, Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends, Peace
Great video. Thanks so much for this video. Really enjoyed the cotton picker I have heard about other farmers having the same problem with the bin extension closing. Thank you again 😊
Do y'all retreive the spilt cotton. I was thinking (from my woodworking) that a small 2 hp impeller for chip extraction mounted on the back of a side by side with about 20' of 4" hose on each end would pick that pile up in a couple of minutes. Efficient and really inexpensive.
I swear we spend more time on maintenance and fixing the pickers than we do running them😂 at least it seems that way🤷🏻♂️🤣 Good morning Granny and Roll Tide!😁
Enjoying your videos very much. I used to pick cotton by hand in Arizona when I was a kid. Amazing what machines can do now. Tried to order some long sleeve shirts but it says they are out of stock. Do you know when more will be available? Thank you
Not saying it's what happened, but it's amazing how many of those fancy, factory lug nuts or hub caps loosen up and fall off in the Walmart parking lot while folks are inside shopping...
@@AlabamaLinemanFarmer I didn’t know Dunder Muffling had a shop on Alabama, I guess the firm startex growing after dropping that poor management you use to have,
Generally the rule of thumb is this, most rolls are 5,000lbs give or take. Most of the weight is in the seed so generally you’re only getting paid for about 30% of that 5,000. The gin generally picks it up and they keep the seed in return. The rest depends on cotton prices for that certain time. Thats our rough rule anyways🤷🏻♂️
and yall wonder why stuff dont work is bc yall dont clean or do pre maintenance on anything yall have and wear your dirty gloves in the cab and spread that stuff
@stephenjohnson1561 Clearly you don’t watch many of his videos or farming videos at all. They are mechanics who farm with all the maintenance they do. Also ive seen brand new equipment break down. You must play a lot of farm simulator or something. Triple R does a fine job

Best live in the world is case oh chain lube ,clean and stays clean. Collects not dirt!!!
Watched a farmer going back over some rows he had already picked. Nothing left but the stalk, not enough for one sock. East central MS yesterday.

Good morning Granny have a great day
if beans are 20 it will be few hours before cutting
Get a tarp to dump the cotton out on next time, then you can easily put it back in.
Good morning from your neighbor in Tennessee.

It can be if you get good yields and the price is good, thanks for watching 👍😁
Love drone shots

Do you need any help with the cotton I can cut stalk while you are picking and this is Tim Wallace from Tuscumbia Alabama
James usually handles that but thanks for watching 👍😁

THANKS!
How many workers do you have
I know it’s all hard work but cotton seems to be way more trouble. Hang in there brother
triple r griggs and joyce farms i learn more and see ups and downs more than any other videos good job you guys

How much cotton per acre do you get?
Daniel why yall have those jugs on the pickers platform there's no need for them up there
Miss the videos, I only see around 1 a week now. Good day Grannie, hope your doing well.
Been raining too much in Bama past couple of weeks
