I love the farming of cotton; I frankly was always curious how it was processed but never knew. Thank you, everyone at Triple R Farms, for showing us all the process and your days. It is often like we are an extra farm hand working with you all.
Thanks Daniel, that original bead was no where CLOSE to the joint. Machines don't see very well, unfortunately. Review your video to see this. Thanks again for taking care to take us along. It's the onliest way many of us could "participate." Appreciate the effort required by farming with only one---for all practical purposes--- arm! Tell Pa I sympathize with his back issue(s). Keep producing an' we'll keep watchin' ! btw congratulations are also due for your constantly improving production values! (some of your camera shots are IN SANE! And one may safely assume expensive in terms of cameras eaten/per/segment.... And as always best regards to Granny. Tell 'er she done good.
Around here tobacco used to be king and I worked the fields and the barn when I was a teenager. I am glad I did. Gain a lot of respect for farmers and built a strong work ethic.
We grew tobacco, peanuts, soybeans and cotton here in East Central Georgia up until 1981. Then soybeans, corn and hogs took the lion's share of the attention. Ever since the mid 90s, peanuts and cotton have become our main crops with a little corn here and there.
Love seeing that picker rolling! I use to grease the heads when I stopped picking at the end of the day while the machine and the grease was warm seemed to flow better when it was warm! Good luck this year be safe tell pop to take it easy on his back!
Lol Daniel you & red ant 🤣 good video to everyone involved. Hope dad back get feeling better i kno what he saying at our age it doesn't take much to twitch a muscle & longer yo heal i learn you cant stop need to keep moving so you don't stiffen up . Yal stay safe Daniel from central Mississippi
I was never around cotton being picked, why does the plant look like there is so much cotton left on the plant behind the harvester ? Thx for the video !!
There's always some harvest loss, but it looks much worse than it really is because with cotton it's so visible. If one lock of cotton grans on a bur or a stalk, it will string out all over the place.
Can you show us well show me it looks like you leave a lot of cotton in the field. Why is that? It looks like there’s a lot of cotton still on the stems.😢
Hello Granny, hope you are meeting your besties today for Friday lunch! Daniel, are you allergic to ant bites? They're gonna have to start calling you Ant Man! Good video again. Dan, hope your back gets better. Seems like the small 'tweaks' start my lower back problems too and it is no bueno!

It takes more than a back ache to stop that old farmer
Old farmers are one of the toughest most resilient people you will ever meet
Great video Dan. Very interesting to watch the type of farming you do down there. All the best to your dad and his back, hope it mends up soon.
Good morning Granny...have a good day....cotton off the ground =- waste not, want not...hope your dads back gets better...hard to work w/ back pain...
You could have used snow shovels to move the loose cotton - but I'm sure they are hard to find on your farm . . ..
Sending Prayers for dad's back and need another visit with Granny to get to see what she's been doing! God Bless ya'll from SE Ga!
