    For those complaining about the view - this was a video done years ago as a last minute hash together for a couple of hundred guys on a forum....
    I didn't expect 26,000+ views but if you feel you can do a better job crack on as up until that point no one had done a video on this 👍👍

    lol I'm back again, never thought I would be having to do this but I have a P1346 - VVT sensor / camshaft position error code and a CEL on the dash for the past 2 days now, gonna try and clean this and based on research the P1346 and P1349 are similar I guess, will update you.

    Could this cause problems with the valves like mine started to back fire true the intake but only at low rpm as far as I could notice.. Have her now parked and am stressing the F out! This is when you get above a 2k rpm it goes away and pulls like normal so I dont know what's really going on

    I have a 2002 Toyota Altezza with the same 1GFE straight six 2.0 engine however i have no idea where to find the fuel filter in the engine bay..any help on this maybe ?

    • @pennybage5665
      @pennybage5665 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The fuel filter is in the fuel tank. It's really a non serviceable item that shouldn't really need changing in the whole lifetime of the car.

    my car won't rev higher than 3000rpm, When I hit 3000rpm it feels and sound like I hit the rev limiter and check engine light is going on and off is it the sign of blocked vvti filter? its lexus is200 aswell

    • @hondas2000greece
      @hondas2000greece 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Dawid Mazuchowski For some reason your car entered "Limp Mode". You have to find an OBD2 code reader and check for errors. There is no sign, by these elements you give, that it is the vvti filter. It could be anything.

      +hondas2000greece hi buddy.
      The IS200 doesn't have limp mode as far as I'm aware.
      precats on the manifold are a common issue.
      plus make sure the timing is correctly.

    • @hondas2000greece
      @hondas2000greece 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure about that because most toyota engines have limp mode. Though my experience comes from 4a ge engines. Anyway thanks

    was going to clean it but changed my mind as i didn't get it out and put the bolt back in the old configuration with the old washers, now the car has problems starting if it starts it only runs for 10 secs before turning off by itself showing a yellow oil symbol, anyone know what happened?

    • @BoBz023

    • @leog6177
      @leog6177 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BoBz023 for me i accidentally damaged the ground connection to the engine so i had to secure it back to the engine and its working perfectly again
