I love rom coms and this is probably the best as it starred my favorites - Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. They had a great chemistry and both have the abilities to carry the comic timings and approach.
this is specifically addressed in the movie because Andrew is actually competent and only being held back because Margaret knows his replacement wouldn't be a good enough assistant. and their company has a lot of male superiors who married incompetent assistants.
