I am a dark winter. I'm glad I went to Sephora and got a color match for the Fenty foundation because both the staff & I were surprised that I have a neutral undertone instead of a warm or yellow undertone. I also always get compliments whenever I wear my fuchsia top so that helps me to decide that I am a deep winter girl!
I know I am a bright winter. You can't get compliments on hot pink clothes as often as I do and miss the clue. Also thank you, I never knew how to describe my eyes color. Cyan is perfect.
That was the best video explaining about the diference in the winters, I was super confuse about my tons and now I know that I'm definitly bright winter! Thanks so much!
I actually spent all year thinking I was true summer and only JUST recently realized I’m bright winter, took a whole 3 seasons of buying mistakes before I realized why I wasn’t loving ALL the colors that went in the true summer palette
Lollll same! I used to think I was true summer and realized I’m true winter-dark winter and I have been trying to de clutter my makeup and wardrobe full of muted summer colors ;-;
don't worry, if you're afraid to wear these pieces again, because honestly it costs money and it can hurt your heart to throw them away...you can dye them to match your season
I have naturally very dark, essentially black hair and eyes and neutral cool skin that’s on the fairer side, but I can tan relatively easily. My cheeks and lips have a natural rosy pink tint as well. I thought because of my dark features that I was a Dark Winter for the longest time, but the palette hasn’t really made me “pop” for some reason. In comparison, I find that when I wear really bright and saturated versions of reds, fuschias, blues, and greens I’m always complimented as “striking” versus when I wear the deeper versions. They don’t look bad, they just don’t look as good. When I did the lipstick test, the deep burgundy of the Dark Winter tends to make me look vampy and doesn’t look natural - I tend to wear a clear gloss on the daily anyways. For these reasons and your video, I suspect I’m instead a Bright Winter, but I’m wary because I feel like most Bright Winters have lighter colored eyes. What do you guys think?
I have all your features and experience the same thing. I look sick in burgundy. I'm also a bright winter. When you have dark eyes, the real thing is figuring it out if you are clear/bright. This means that you are not overwhelmed by any high levels of saturation. This is the same for me. Colors in clothes have to be saturated and sometimes, things that seem saturated on the rack look muted on me. Finding truly bright things can be hard for us because we are bright.
Yes, I've dealt with the same thing. I thought at first that I was a dark winter, but I noticed that even though I like some darker colors on me, I really look and feel my best wearing bright and saturated colors like red or hot pink or a bright blue. Even thought I thought dark was my primary characteristic (I first thought my olive skin couldn't be considered bright), I've realized that I'm actually a Bright Winter. I think you are too! There definitely seems to be some overlap between the Dark and Bright Winter best colors that Bella suggests though, so we may need to pick and choose which colors work best for us individually
You can have brown eyes and still be a bright winter. Bright winters usually have their eyes as their most striking feature, so for brown eyes they will usually look very crisp and have that glassy effect to them, especially with natural lighting.
Same here- I have dark features so all the online tests were putting me in the Autumn category or Dark Winter but when I look at my photos in different color outfits and analyze the color palettes, bright winter matches most closely to my most flattering colors.
I am a bright winter... and most things in the stores look dull on me... I never really realized until I bought and tried on some really insane colors and looked perfectly fine in them. Shopping is difficult for an entirely different reason now, lol.
Right? 😂 The good news: we finally know our color type The bad news: only high fashion designers are crazy enough to make clothes in shades that suit us
I was analyzed by a system that has 16 sub-types, not 12. I am a mix of jewel/true winter and sultry winter, which is deep but borders with dark summer (cool and deep). Some of my best (also called wow) colors are Electric Blue, Fuchsia, Raspberry, Pine, and Indigo. The best way to find out your season is with an in-person draping; I am suspicious of anyone who tries to analyze people virtually because you need to see how the colors reflect on your skin.
Always thought I'm a true winter. Came here to confirm, I really am one. Although true winters suit extremes of light, dark, and bright, I somehow look less appealing when I put on vibrant, neonish and highly saturated clothes. I noticed most colors look good on me if they're muted. So I guess Chroma is my most prominent feature? Definitely a true winter tho. Thanks for helping me decide!
Thought I was a dark winter, simply because I have dark skin, hair, and eyes, but it seems I’m a true winter as my skintone pulls more cool than neutral. Thanks!
Thank you so much for clarifying the different subcategories. I'm a dark Winter. I'd been wearing warm brown hair colors or caramel highlights. Recently, I had my second earlobe piercings and went for white stones (fake diamonds) and a hairdresser corrected my color with ½ jet-black and ½ blue-black it became obvious to me that I'm a Dark Winter and not a Deep Autumn as I'd thought for a while. In the early 1990s as a teen, I intuitively chose the colors that suited me. I don't know when or why I strayed.
I'm a dark winter. I have Filipina light-medium to medium (depending on season) neutral skin and look much fresher and vibrant with cool and neutral makeup. Our kids are mixed-ethnicity and they have super dark hair with brown eyes and very fair skin. They are also both dark winters although one has more pink undertones than her brother who is more neutral. I think they are the epitome of the "striking" Dark Winter folks as they garner a lot of attention when they are out and about. Their Central European descendant dad is a true winter with his dark hair and fair skin with freckles. It's so much easier to coordinate clothes and know what colours to pick when buying clothes since we're all winters.
Thank you so much. I had my colors done in person a while ago and she said I was either true winter or bright winter and to explore these options. This video helped me realize I am definitely true winter!
I'm bright winter. I've always looked my best in cool tones, but I've worn magenta and fuchsia and always gotten compliments. I used to wear a turtleneck sweater that was a saturated shade of orange, that I got huge compliments on (always paired it with turquoise blue).
This is really helpful. It's so confusing to figure out what kind of winter I am. Here you give me sample colors and I just have to pick out the ones that have the same color of my favorite clothes which are usually dark red, dark brown and the two shades of pink you've shown for the dark winter type. For those who are still confused, try wear some pastel colors and you will know if you see. I think especially for dark winter people, the two former winters' colors won't suit them cuz of they have a little lightness in them. it's just my two cents. Bella, can you make a video on how to tell if a color is cool of warm? Thanks
I have black hair and eyes, but I am very cooled-toned which makes me a True Winter. Silver suits me the best and icy colours have always complimented me. I wasn't sure if I was dark or light so I thought I was a light summer but this makes so much more sense.
I just gasped when you came on screen, you’re so pretty!!! I have similar coloring to you and am so appreciative of this video as I cull down my wardrobe ❤️
I have freckles and almond colored eyes, so for a long time, I thought I was warm toned, but dark drown and blue black hair has always looked best. My natural hair color is medium ash brown. The freckles through me off.
I'm either true or bright watching this to see if I can know my coloring. So far I know I look really good in pastel colors especially pink and blue. Also in cool darker colors.
I'm a bright winter. It took forever for me to figure out; I was born with bright blue-grey eyes, a very odd shade of strawberry blonde hair, and brown-black eyebrows, leading to me being typed incorrectly for years. I only figured out where I really belonged when I started dyeing my hair (which darkened over time to brown). This was really, really helpful. I knew I was a winter, but I didn't understand my subcategory - now, my passion for jewel tones and my makeup preferences make perfect sense.
@@concepthreeI'm so glad I found your channel. I came here looking for advice on makeup choices, and I found so much more. I'm looking forward to watching your videos on dressing for different bodytypes (especially one about the right undergarments).
I think I’m a bright winter but it’s difficult to tell. People have told me they think I am but I seem to have all the categories of both bright and true winter. But I do think the bright winter red looks better so probably that one
I’ve been told I’m a true winter after having dyed my hair black. I have naturally dark eyebrows, but my natural hair color was this mousy brown color that was too dark to be blonde but too light to be brown. I had blonde highlights when I was a teenager (I had them done) and I can see the yellow tones in that blonde washed me out and looked weird with my eyebrows and fair skin tone. Now that I have black hair, my skin tone really pops and jewel tones look great on me! I’ve usually gravitated towards black and other dark colors anyways so it makes me happy. Only problem is I have very cool toned skin and warm hazel eyes. My skin will look sick in yellow toned colors whereas with cool jewel tones, my skin looks vibrant and my lips don’t look dead.
I was going to make a similar comment, but didn't think anyone would believe that my natural hair color doesn't suit me. Totally get where you're coming from here - born with red-blonde hair that deepened to a similar shade as yours was and dark eyebrows. Finally finding the right hair color is a wonderful experience. 💜 I'm really jealous of the fact that you can pull off true black hair. Enjoy it!
@@thatexcalifornian6124 Keep loving and rocking that look. 💜 I did, in the manner of a classic Bright Winter: I went with electric cobalt blue and violet for years before coming around to my forever color. Lunar Tides Juniper Green. It's a blackened true emerald that quite literally glows (you can see a halo of the color around my head with almost no light), and somehow looks completely natural on me. If you're ever interested in adding a touch more True Winter to your raven tresses, Lunar Tides' entire color line, from pale to neon to jewel to smoky, is heavily biased towards we Winter folk.
I’m so confused. My features are all mixed up! I have ash brown natural hair, hazel green eyes with a golden sunburst around the Iris, but cool/pink undertones and soft features. I feel like there’s not one category I fully fit in. All I know is I do not look good in red lol.
Still looks to me like you don't need to fit in just one category. I have neutral skin tone and eyes and hair fit both autumn and winter categories. Same is true for the colors I can pull off. Maybe there is always a spectrum of colors out of your category that might be related to your main season, but belongs to another small season.
Yep, I have pale skin with pink/red undertones, dark brown eyes and red/gold highlights in my brown hair. Some autumn and some winter colours suit me. I don’t fit these categories
@@cpg86259 When they categorize you in colors, it doesn't mean you can't wear anything other than that. For instance, Dark Winters can borrow some colors from Dark Autumns because in the color wheel, they are relatively close save for yellows and oranges. It's all about color theory.
@@megaga8003 I am true winter with bright autumn and neutral purple skin. Thats what came out at my Personal color analysis many years ago. My color palette ist quite large.I als noticed in all those Videos on the Subject that the number of suiting colores can be very different fromm Person to Person. Some had only one small subgroup and others had a range of Up to three seasons of colours that suited them.
hm i’m highly convinced that i belong in the winter season. i have very very dark hair , it looks black most of the time but sometimes when i’m outside i can see the ends of my hair be brown. i have light skin tone, i use 2.6 in the nars radiant concealer but i feel like i lean more neutral since i also have some cool veins . when i wear fuchsia like color i feel like it looks good on me. not sure what winter category i belong in 😵💫
Great video, after watching this video several times, I may be a true winter instead of dark because in the sunlight my hazel eyes look lighter. Thankyou .
I am still dont know. I am a winter but i dont know bright or deep? My eyes are dark Hazel, my hair dark brown and my skin is neutral. I cannot wear warm or cool make up. So because i am neutral ich cannot be a true winter? please help me
i dont know if im just not able to wrap my head around this... but i technically fit under all 3 subgenres? how do i distinguish the difference when my features fit all 3? i have very pale cool skin, and i have very dark (almost black) hair and eyes. those were listed under all 3. is it just something i have to play around with until i can figure out what the best option is for me? im confident im a winter, but the subgenres seem like they have 0 differing features between them LOL
I would have appreciated if you highlighted the similarities and differences between the types. The video overall was a little repetitive. I.e. all of the types had the exact same hair color types and so as someone trying to determine which one I am it was a little redundant. Thanks for the video!
So, I've seen contrasting information about Winter seasonal color analysis online. My mom underwent Color Me Beautiful typing in the 90's, when there were only four color seasons. She was typed as a Winter. I believe she would now be called a True Winter. I really don't think she was mistyped. She wears jewel tones wonderfully, and doesn't look good in muted shades. So even though she might be able to wear some summer shades, I don't think she is a true summer. She has what would call light skin. However, she does not have blue, brown, hazel, or black eyes - they are green, with a blue rim around the iris. The green is not a warm green, it is a cool green. So is the blue ring. Her veins are blue/cool. Her hair is also not represented here, it is two or so shades lighter than the medium brown. I'd say it was closer to medium ash brown. We share many characteristics - I also have green eyes with a blue ring around the iris, and blue veins. But my skin is more fair and pink-toned than hers. My hair is also a shade or two lighter than hers. I'd say it's a light ash brown. Her hair got darker as she went through her 20's, while mine never did. When I was a baby, I my hair was so light, I was very close to being a blonde. But I really don't think I'm a True Summer, either. We both look very good in jewel tones! Is anyone of the opinion that, in some cases, Winters can be a little bit lighter than the examples given here? 🙂I am fairer than Brooke Shields, but I have seen some people type her as another True Winter. I also see many online who aren't totally comfortable with giving her that classification. However, she may be the closest celebrity outlier who looks the most like my mom in skin tone and eye color. Some websites say her eyes are blue, and some say they are green, but when I look at her photos, I see green. Does anyone disagree with me? I could be wrong. Maybe I'm incorrect, and need to look at being a True Summer. I know I can't handle the neon shades of Bright Winter. (Maybe Bright Summer though?) I keep going back and forth because I really don't think I look good with grey anywhere near my face. I love the color, but it just washes me out! Does anyone have any opinions they think might help? 🙂 Also, I just wanted to say to Isabella, your video is very well done. Your instructions are very clear and your visual presentation is beautiful. Nice work! 👍
Yes you can also be a winter with green eyes as long as they are cool and not warm and bright. You and your sister seem to be a True Winters with what you described but the only way to be sure would to do a proper Season Color Analysis. If you’re interested I do both virtual and express consultations. You’re welcome! I work very hard to make sure these videos help you :)
I have medium brown hair with golden reflections and medium brown eyes with green outline with that I think I have a warm undertone but I have beige skin that tends to blush (silver suits me better than gold royal blue suits me better than mustard yellow everything that is cold in color suits me well but khaki green is not bad on me) I don't know if maybe cold undertones with hair and warm eyes?
I think that I am bright winter, but I have green eyes, freckles, warm skin tone and dark natural hair. I look sick in fall colors. It is only 4 seasons to choose from but at the same time it is so hard and confusing.
I'm confused. I used a website where I could upload my photo and it determined what I was from that and it says I am a cool winter. But when googling to find out what that's equivalent to in this video it says I'm non of the ones mentioned in the video. Is there more than 3 sub categories of winter because apparently true, bright and dark winter are not the same as cool winter lol
I have dark ashy brown hair, swamp coloured eyes, very pale skin (110N is my perfect shade foundation in the Rare Beauty Line), dark red lipstick looks killer on me, my go to colours for clothes are dark green, black, red, dark red, green, etc. Pastels, light grey and light neutrals wash me out and make me look trash and tired. My veins are blue/purple, I look good in both gold and silver (silver looks better though), don’t tan only burn. What do you think I am?
I have come to the conclusion that i am either a dark winter or autumn. I have neutral undertones so i am not sure which it is. I will say i think cooler nail polishes look super bad on me and always go for more warmth.
What if you color your hair? I'm definitely some type of Winter with my natural medium brown hair. But I dye my hair and it's a dirty blonde. My hair does have a natural red cast to it, so some of that does come through.
Hi! It’s hard to tell from your description, but I think you can definitely be categorized! If you need further help and would like to learn more about my consultation for a seasonal color analysis please email me at concepthree@outlook.com :)
This was the most useful video I e watched yet. I have been debating between dark autumn and dark winter cause I’m not very cool per se. Now I understand that I’m neutral. I’m a dark winter for sure!!! :)
You said that true and bright winters defining characteristics are bright and cool. Probably was just a slip of the tongue but it’s very confusing, just FYI
Bright Winter’s primary aspect is bright, and secondary aspect is cool while True Winter’s primary aspect is cool, and the secondary aspect is bright. That is what I meant 😊
Idk if you are aware, but I wanted to point out that you have a contradiction in two of your videos. Your original color analysis video has Anne Hathaway as a Summer, but here she is noted as a Winter. Whoops! Thanks for the videos 😊
I am defiantly 110% cool toned, but my hair is medium-dark brown with a redish tint. My eyes are blue/green/grey and I'm really pale. I feel like the dark winter color palette fits me the most tho??? I'm so confused. Mother nature really said a little bit of this, a little bit of that.
According to this the eye hair and skin colours are all exactly the same, no discussion of undertones, warm brown/Cool brown hair, olive skin or neutral skin etc
I am either a true winter or a dark winter. However I have let my dark brown hair go gray, actually shiny silver. Does this affect my classification? How and why?
@@concepthree It is, my mom looks just like me but she has dark brown hair and brown eyes. I should have my analysis redone probably. I look great in black and look best in navy blue so it's confusing.
I dissagree with you on dark winter I'm fair but I'm an dark auburn or dark chocolate brown hair with red highlights and dark brown eyes. I can't wear autumn colors because they make me look pail or lifeless. I'm definitely a dark winter. I'm drawn to darker colors..
If I am a bright winter..fair skin , green/blue eyes, my natural hair color is a dark brown. I am 85 and have highlighted my hair lately, so it’s a ashy blond on a brown base.color. Years ago I was judged to be a jewel winter. Help?
hey! i have a problem because i have no idea what season i am. i have watched millions of videos on this topic and i still can't understand what i am. my skin is fair and has a grey undertone, i have dark brown almost black eyes, and my hair is a blonde/dark blonde color. i am cool and there is a big contrast between my hair, eyes and skin. what am i?
I still can't tell which winter I am. I feel like I might be a dark winter but my eyes are light brown and there is yellow in them in the light so maybe I'm a bright winter? People have actually said, wow, your eyes are actually really light brown in the light. I have olive skin and dark brown hair but I've seen auburn highlights in the sun in the past. It's just super dark though.
Best way to find out is to do a drape test or lipstick test! I have black hair and dark reddish-brown eyes and thought I was a dark winter for the longest time until I did both the drape and lipstick tests and found I was actually a bright winter!
@musicchick581 essentially you take two articles of clothing each with a different color shade (such as bright hot pink for bright winter compared with a warmer bright coral for bright spring) and you drape them on your shoulders and see which one looks better - as in which one makes your eyes pop, teeth look whiter, highlight the angles of your face, etc. You want to make sure you do this in natural lighting with no makeup.
I have dark brown eres, chocolate brown hair and I am Caucasian with fair skin and very noticeable pinkish-raspberry or teal undertones (on my hands; my face, not so much). It would appear that I should be a dark winter but the colors are too saturated for me. What do I do? It seems to me that the colors of the true winter suit me more (and more of the pallete) even though they are slightly undersaturated
@@concepthree Thank you for your response. Could be true, but then, again, some summer colors look too grey on me. Anyway, maybe I will stick to the true winter, seems that most of the colors in the pallete suit me ok and I also like them very much (chocolate brown, orchids and raspberry red)
When I went looking for foundation, I tried 30 different kinds only to find out that the reason I was having trouble is because my skintone is really super neutral. Even Sephora people told me they never saw someone with such neutral skintone because people are usually cool or warm Is “deep winter” the same as dark winter?
When I was trying foundations, I found myself in a similar predicament! Both, the neutral-cool and neutral-warm shades worked on me, and ultimately the consultant had me decide for myself. I ended up going with the neutral-cool shade because I went nearing the end of summer when my skin tans easily (so I was slightly darker than usual), but I get extremely pale/fair in the winter Also, deep winter and dark winter are the same and interchangeable from my understanding
What if a person has a cool undertone, light value, and bright chroma? The undertone and chroma would suggest bright winter, but winters seem to have dark values not light…

I have freckles and almond colored eyes, so for a long time, I thought I was warm toned, but dark drown and blue black hair has always looked best. My natural hair color is medium ash brown. The freckles through me off.
Bright winter for sure, blue eyes dark hair☺️
I'm either true or bright watching this to see if I can know my coloring. So far I know I look really good in pastel colors especially pink and blue. Also in cool darker colors.
Between the colors for true and bright true ones definitely seem closer to what I look good in. I guess I'm true winter then.
Can you be Like a mix of both? Cus based of this im True winter but some of colors from Bright winter look great on me
I'm wearing hijab and I realized that I'm a true winter! Looks like I have to declutter my orange and brown outfit :')
I think I am a bright winter. I have always looked really good in very bright, vibrant colours and jewel tones.
Your best colors for true winter were spot on
I'm a bright winter.
Yes sometimes people get mistyped! I’m glad you found this helpful 😊
@@concepthreeI'm so glad I found your channel. I came here looking for advice on makeup choices, and I found so much more. I'm looking forward to watching your videos on dressing for different bodytypes (especially one about the right undergarments).
Ooo yes I’m a bright winter and I look very cool but I always need a foundation with more yellow in it.
I think I’m a bright winter. I need to know I’m obsessing. 🎉
About to buy a new wardrobe, sooo happy I watched this before I got started
I think I’m a bright winter but it’s difficult to tell. People have told me they think I am but I seem to have all the categories of both bright and true winter. But I do think the bright winter red looks better so probably that one
The shirt and lipstick color you're wearing doesn't work on you 😅
Says the person with no profile picture 😂
You're so fuckjng rude.
You probably look like a potato.
looks fine to me…
I like it.
With all due respect to the content creator- I agree. It makes your skin look a bit dull
I'm really jealous of the fact that you can pull off true black hair. Enjoy it!
@@RexytheRexy I’m definitely feeling my black hair era! Hopefully you find a hair color that suits you!
@@thatexcalifornian6124 Keep loving and rocking that look. 💜
I did, in the manner of a classic Bright Winter: I went with electric cobalt blue and violet for years before coming around to my forever color.
Lunar Tides Juniper Green. It's a blackened true emerald that quite literally glows (you can see a halo of the color around my head with almost no light),
and somehow looks completely natural on me.
I think I was a true winter but now my hair is gray. Does that change my season?
Fantastic video. Dark winter.
I feel I am bright , dark, and coolish. My skin temperature is the least obvious characteristic, but it is on the cooler side. I have a lot of red.
Dark autumn and dark winter are sister palettes, so it fits. Since I'm a true winter, I can borrow a lot from summer palettes
@@cpg86259 When they categorize you in colors, it doesn't mean you can't wear anything other than that. For instance, Dark Winters can borrow some colors from Dark Autumns because in the color wheel, they are relatively close save for yellows and oranges. It's all about color theory.
So you prob a Dark Winter or Dark Autumn bcuz they sister palette (one it's cool the other it's warm)
I am pretty sure I am Winter, but I can‘t understand if I am Dark Winter or True winter, how can I understand it? Thank you :)
What if I am light-pale olive? I can’t tell if I am bright, true, or dark winter 😅
I pretty sure I’m a bright winter. I have grey eyes though. Great job putting it in words
Can brigou Winter have Hazel eyes ?
hm i’m highly convinced that i belong in the winter season. i have very very dark hair , it looks black most of the time but sometimes when i’m outside i can see the ends of my hair be brown. i have light skin tone, i use 2.6 in the nars radiant concealer but i feel like i lean more neutral since i also have some cool veins . when i wear fuchsia like color i feel like it looks good on me. not sure what winter category i belong in 😵💫
Here a Bright Winter with brown eyes!
So because i am neutral ich cannot be a true winter? please help me
I think I'm a Bright or Dark Winter because of my dark brown eyes/hair and nc/c undertone.
I'm a true winter 😊
I am a winter green brown eyes. Am I a true, bright or deep winter?. i don't have particularly bright eyes and i do suit extreme bright colours
May I ask what your season is? Oh, btw, I love your lipstick.
I’m a Bright Spring! Thanks :)
Can winters wear a brown color palette? I like more earth tone colors compared to bright colors.
Yes but cooler browns!
I'm a cool winter
I’ve been told I’m a winter a clear and cool I’m not sure if I’m a bright or true winter I have medium brown hair grey and fair skin
Can i be a dark winter even if i have highlights in my hair under the sun ?
i dont know if im just not able to wrap my head around this... but i technically fit under all 3 subgenres? how do i distinguish the difference when my features fit all 3? i have very pale cool skin, and i have very dark (almost black) hair and eyes. those were listed under all 3. is it just something i have to play around with until i can figure out what the best option is for me? im confident im a winter, but the subgenres seem like they have 0 differing features between them LOL
I would have appreciated if you highlighted the similarities and differences between the types. The video overall was a little repetitive. I.e. all of the types had the exact same hair color types and so as someone trying to determine which one I am it was a little redundant.
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for your feedback, noted !
where does cool hazel land on the bright vs dark winter spectrum?
Also, I just wanted to say to Isabella, your video is very well done.
Bright winter
🌞
I always wonder why vivid colors suit me better, i just realized that i'm a dark winter
I think you have cool undertones. With warm eyes/hair. I have similar. But I’m still not sure what kind of “winter” I am
I think that I am bright winter, but I have green eyes, freckles, warm skin tone and dark natural hair. I look sick in fall colors. It is only 4 seasons to choose from but at the same time it is so hard and confusing.
True winter.
I am a true winter with graying hair, that used to be very dark brown
I'm still confused about mine please help me out:)
True winter!

This was the most useful video I e watched yet. I have been debating between dark autumn and dark winter cause I’m not very cool per se. Now I understand that I’m neutral. I’m a dark winter for sure!!! :)
So happy it helped ! 🙂
What.About.Grey/Silver/Hair ??????
Dark Winter😉
Idk if you are aware, but I wanted to point out that you have a contradiction in two of your videos. Your original color analysis video has Anne Hathaway as a Summer, but here she is noted as a Winter. Whoops! Thanks for the videos 😊
I still can't tell which one I am. Sometimes I think bright, sometimes I think true. Ugh.
Me too!
What if you are a winter but your eyes are amber?
Other pages use the terms Deep, Cool, and Clear. I'm guessing Deep matches Dark here but what about Cool and Clear?
Dark=Deep, Bright=Clear, True=cool
Hope this helps! :)
According to this the eye hair and skin colours are all exactly the same, no discussion of undertones, warm brown/Cool brown hair, olive skin or neutral skin etc
Hey, I have a suggestion, can you experiment the colors on you and make a video of it?
Sure!
I am either a true winter or a dark winter. However I have let my dark brown hair go gray, actually shiny silver. Does this affect my classification? How and why?
Me toooo and nobody ever talks about that. It's almost like.... older women are invisible or maybe we don't care! harrumph
I had my color analysis done and was told I'm a winter (not sure which type) but I have blonde hair and gray eyes which I found unusual
Yes that is not typical for the winter season, is blonde your natural hair color?
@@concepthree It is, my mom looks just like me but she has dark brown hair and brown eyes. I should have my analysis redone probably. I look great in black and look best in navy blue so it's confusing.
I had an acquaintance who was platinum blond with gray eyes. She was definitely a winter so you may be the rarest of the rare winters.
@@angelaarman398 I think us auburn winters might be even rarer lol
I dissagree with you on dark winter I'm fair but I'm an dark auburn or dark chocolate brown hair with red highlights and dark brown eyes. I can't wear autumn colors because they make me look pail or lifeless. I'm definitely a dark winter. I'm drawn to darker colors..
I thought dark winter only has dark colors? Now I'm questioning if I'm a dark winter since I actually look best with contrast.
If I am a bright winter..fair skin , green/blue eyes, my natural hair color is a dark brown. I am 85 and have highlighted my hair lately, so it’s a ashy blond on a brown base.color. Years ago I
was judged to be a jewel winter. Help?
hey! i have a problem because i have no idea what season i am. i have watched millions of videos on this topic and i still can't understand what i am. my skin is fair and has a grey undertone, i have dark brown almost black eyes, and my hair is a blonde/dark blonde color. i am cool and there is a big contrast between my hair, eyes and skin.
@@claudialuvsu21 what is the drape test?
@musicchick581 essentially you take two articles of clothing each with a different color shade (such as bright hot pink for bright winter compared with a warmer bright coral for bright spring) and you drape them on your shoulders and see which one looks better - as in which one makes your eyes pop, teeth look whiter, highlight the angles of your face, etc. You want to make sure you do this in natural lighting with no makeup.
@@claudialuvsu21 thank you!
You might be a Summer instead!
@@concepthree Thank you for your response. Could be true, but then, again, some summer colors look too grey on me. Anyway, maybe I will stick to the true winter, seems that most of the colors in the pallete suit me ok and I also like them very much (chocolate brown, orchids and raspberry red)
i think im a bright winter, but i have green eyes?
Can always be too!
Was the difference between deep winter and dark winter im one of this but don’t know if there the same
There is no difference, just using the word deep & dark !
When I went looking for foundation, I tried 30 different kinds only to find out that the reason I was having trouble is because my skintone is really super neutral. Even Sephora people told me they never saw someone with such neutral skintone because people are usually cool or warm
Is “deep winter” the same as dark winter?
When I was trying foundations, I found myself in a similar predicament! Both, the neutral-cool and neutral-warm shades worked on me, and ultimately the consultant had me decide for myself. I ended up going with the neutral-cool shade because I went nearing the end of summer when my skin tans easily (so I was slightly darker than usual), but I get extremely pale/fair in the winter
Also, deep winter and dark winter are the same and interchangeable from my understanding
Yes!
All of my features match up with Bright winter except my brown hair has a little red when in the sun
How much is a mini consultation
Hi Norah. Please email me at concepthree@outlook.com for more info on my consultations!
What if a person has a cool undertone, light value, and bright chroma? The undertone and chroma would suggest bright winter, but winters seem to have dark values not light…
