Thanks for the info... for newbies just starting do not forget Temu to source cheap stuff to practice on. Just be careful what the blanks are made of before cutting.
I just put my very first order in with KGP, a small order to start just to see the quality. I have been looking for a reasonably priced outlet for wood to make ornaments and signs and they are by far the best priced up here in Canada. Thank you, Emily for your helpful list of suppliers.
Thank you so much!!! I have been apart of your FB group for a couple of years now and FINALLY splurged and bought myself a laser. Just got it last week and Im ready to dive into all of the things I have learned from you over the last few years!
This is definitely a great resource but what would be even more helpful is a shipping source; What are some of the best resources for small business for packaging and shipping?
I too recommend local lumber yards. I have found CNC materials locally. Laser materials have been a little more difficult, but this video is definitely going to help. Thanks for everything you do.
Emily, this is a great resource (about resources) for laser supplies! Thank you so much for not only including as one one of your trusted suppliers, but calling Cerulean Tides your GO-TO!! Our hearts our so full over here. Thank you or being such a loving, loyal, and supportive customer. Keep the amazing content coming. We love you!
That’s gold my friend. Thank you for sharing the info that took so long to find and learn. Local lumberyards are a great way to support local businesses. Keep having fun
So many good ones on the list. I use Cerulean Tides for acrylic, Smokey Hill for wood, Save-a-cup for tumblers, and I use That Laser Dude & Big Blue Laser Designs for files. There are several others I have ordered from a few times and love them as well including Sunshine Laser Supplies for blanks and Lasered by the Creek.
You rock!!! I just started my laser journey 3 weeks ago and I can't stop binging your videos!! This is the most incredible, helpful and resourceful video I've come across yet!! I was so lost in the supplier world and have been disappointed with the ones I've ordered from so far, so I can't thank you enough for these nuggets of goodness!! Thank you for being so willing to help us out here. I can't wait to get on these suppliers!!!! :)
I ordered the exact same items from both Hybond and Lonestar Adhesive because I wanted to see which one I could get my material from faster. By the time the materials from Lonestar arrived, I had made the order for which I purchased the items and had already shipped them. To cap off the lackluster experience I had with Lonestar Adhesive, when I queried Lonestar concerning why my shipment hadn't even shipped, I was given a rather unsatisfactory response. Let's just say that's the last order Lonestar will ever get from me. Although I appreciate people's loyalty to certain companies, there is no way I would recommend Lonestar Adhesive to anyone. Thanks so much for the informative video.
This is very helpful feedback for the viewers watching. I have yet to experience anything like this and sorry to hear it. Thank you for taking the time to share.
@@ThatMomWithALaser No worries. That's why I posted it. With that said, I am new to this laser engraving thing, and to be honest, most days I feel like I'm lost. There is so much information out there, and like you said, sooooo many suppliers, etc., that it can get frustrating at times. For now, I'm concentrating on the leatherette hats, as I think it's just hard enough to be challenging but also simple enough that one can figure things out without losing a whole lot of hair. 😂 But then, perhaps I can just wear one of my hats if things get too frustrating. Thanks again for the great vid.

Thank You So Much for simplyu taking the time to produce this episode.
