Got my Geely Emgrand Premium 3 months ago at sobrang happy ako sa purchace ko na ito. Isa itong video review na ito sa ginawa kong reference after a year ng pagpili and I can say na honest and balance ang review ni Sir Rey, hindi magsisinungaling ang mga figures na yan kaya wag nating dayain ang mga sarili natin na mas mabilis ang Emgrand Premuim sa City RS *hahaha! On the other hand, pagdating sa looks and comfort, and value for money FOR ME Emgrand Premium is the clear winner. At the end of the day, taste parin ng buyer ang mananaig dito. More power Sir Rey and Team! PS: Hindi para sa lahat ang pagbili ng Geely Cars, mataas ang risk lalo at bago pa lang sa market, pero hindi ibig sabihin ay mababang uri na ito kumpara sa ibang brands na matagal na sa market. Yun lang, Bow!
Well, this model is rebatched as Proton s70 in malaysia. So we do get 7speed-dct gearbox with 1.5 turbo engine which produces 150ps and 225nm of torque. In addition, advanced driving assistance system (adas) is completely equipped as well. More specs like 12 inches of headunit, wireless charging port, sunroof, rear center armrest etc etc are well equipped too.
Our Emgrand Premium 1.6yr now. Still didn't disappointed from quality and endurance. Parts are top knotch condition supreme quality as for my assessment. As i reply here on their observation how Raygan deliver this new video... its competition new releases must surpassed the previous one. Healthy competition leads to more options for us all. This time they might give us Emgrand Champion Edition or might as well get the Preface.😂 on the side note on sports mode you dont just floor this. There's a rythm on how to engage this properly based on carbon emissions architecture.
@@KirbyLumabas I think it's not biased. What I think after he feature Emgrand before he has been attack by different sort of life. Remember that PH is Monopoly by bigger company and lobbying in the government to gain more favorable to their side. Geely is vast and can compete to bigger player.

That car is designed for driving comfort. It's not a performance car the price will.speak for itself. But it is way better that it's counterparts in the segment. Bravo Geely! It's a winner 🏆!
emgrand premium white owner here for 9 months now. yung first video, isa sa binasehan ko to get the emgrand. so far wala naman prob driving, super comfortable to drive, di ka pagod kahit long drive. mabenta sa mga wedding haha di pa naman ako nagsawa sa looks lalo na sa taillight haha pero tama si sir ray competition is getting high, which is good for the new buyers, nagsilabasan na new generations like yung wigo and vios kasi ito tlga gusto ko dati kaso wala pang new gen, face lift lang.

emgrand owner here. wala naman ako problema sa auto ko... spot on naman lahat ng sinabi ni sir. sakto lang din naman yung lakas ng 1.5L engine nya di naman sya nahihirapan take note po 3 times a week po ako umaakyat ng baguio from pangasinan dahil dun ako nagwowork so far so good pa naman. di naman kasi sports car si emgrand pang araw araw point A to point B. tas isa pa pagdating sa gas consumption spot on ule sir sakto lang kunsomo. sa ngayun naka 11kms na ko 7mos naguulan pa. masasabi ko lang walang pagsisi comfortable eh tsaka di rin sya nakakapagod idrive di rin ako pagod pagkauwe ko dito pangasinan from baguio...
I think this really is just something to chauffeur someone or get around in class without breaking the bank. If one doesn’t get all fast and furious, it should be fine. To be called boring is no surprise given the engine figures.
I'll still take 2024 City anyday, Honda Sensing, more power, and although it has a lot of plastic interior its still not bad considering all the touch point are soft touch, and I believe it's more efficient, and looks might be subjective, I like the look of the Honda City more, especially after the recent update
@ReygansRides thank god, they just launch here in Malaysia under their subsidiaries PROTON. Comes with 1.5 Turbo MPI engine. 150 ps @ 5500 rpm & 226 nM @ 1750-4000 rpm. Price from RM 73,800 ( 870,000 peso) to RM94,800 ( 1,120,000 peso).

Its got the Turbo engine from the Coolray(with a 4 cylinder on the way) and they are hard at work bringing Apple Carplay and Android Auto to the headunit(apparently its a a custom job because the native Geely OS doesnt support them).
It's not supposed to convince people, the review should inform people. I am planning to get an emgrand myself next year as my first car :) I am biased because of how it looks and don't also want to have the japanese cars especially vios as I see them every time I get out from my house. P.S. dream car would be a mazda 3 but too expensive. maybe when I get rich I will get one
Well I just compared it to his last year review that makes me really want to buy emgrand its so much different for what he is saying right now. I do agree with you I want it because of its looks its a love at first sight for me despite everything with regards to the issue and I don't generalize. ❤
I used to like Geely, but then some stuff happened and the community (led by seemingly Geely sales agents) engage in some knuckle-dragging behavior. I don't see myself wanting to be in that sort of group. So watch out, Rey, the Geely marites people might come for you since you didn't exactly sing the car's praises.
Geely put out a statement on that issue and they have made efforts to make amends with the customers. Yeah the incident was bad but at least they acknowledged it and did something about it. Alot of the other brands either would throw the customer under the bus or not acknowledge it in the first place.

As a example, Kia America didnt respond to the whole KIA BOYZ fiasco until it started making not local but National News which was months after it started and they still didnt do anything substantial until they were served with a class action lawsuit. Other carmakers have proven not to be that generous, so for me 2 weeks aint bad for a small localised issue.

The City has always been more than its worth, they just put on the Honda Sensing to try justify sending the prices even further skyward.

My main grouse with th Emgrand is the low ground clearance, but hey Sir Reygan, you didnt scrape it so theres that. Is QDLink really that bad btw?
