There are far to many people who don't know anything about football before 2010, this guy is one of the greatest receivers of all time. He played 16 years, in his first 15 he had one season with less than 15 yards per catch and was a consistently reliable receiver to. Not just the big play, which he was tremendous at also.
I was playing fantasy football before it was a thing back in the 80's when James Lofton was at his peak. I used to keep stats of him vs the other greats of that time like Mike Quick, Art Monk, Steve Largent, etc. LOL just thinking, back then back shoulder passes were not even a thing.
Name a WR who was a beast and doesn't get talked about enough. I'll start. Anquan Bolden Hines Ward Mike Evans Keenan Allen DeSean Jackson Vincent Jackson Antonio Brown

1:15 Lofton had hand that wouldn't quit.
This is the type of play I can imagine coming from Christian Watson.
I'm imagining JL turns around and throws the ball back to the QB 2:33 😂

It is like Jerry Rice wearing a Packers uniform. Body type and stride are the same.
@@KirkMartin-bh9yg he was the Jerry Rice before Jerry Rice was in the league
This video is also a Lynn Dickey highlight reel.
