At Lotton Point If you'd gone just a little further along there use to be might still be a beautiful water fall and little swimming hole❤,.
Seeing you drive in there memories came flooding back to me off been a kid with the family fishing,. And camping at the next campsite over the ways a bit. Use to be the fishing clubs campground through there.
Drank my first beer there 😂.

You can't find a more stunning scenic coastline then the east cape aye with its gorgeous Bays and friendly locals.

I took my southern man on same journey we stayed at that hicks bay place too. Went dwn wharf n he caught 3 snapper n a gurnard .poor ol rangi cant even have a moe in peace 📸 😂 love Lottin point 👍

North bay of poverty is bar nun the best place too go for a blast on my old 67 Trumpy I travel ova from the naki every summer just too Cruze those east cape roads leave the van in Opotiki and ride from there bit to hard on the old body riding all that way from Taranaki that Wiaweka gorge makes for an awesome start to the adventcher cheers for another cool watch there Hori & Rangi

@J27M i was bought up with miles feet inches pounds shillings and pence and when the change came i think about 1971 i was 11yrs old when kilometres came in so learnt both and very handy to, my natural thinking is the imperial, the decimal currency came in back in 1967, i still relate to a quid a few bob etc 😝😝😝

IF YA BAIT IS ALWAYS COMING BACK LIKE THAT ITS USUALLY PADDLE CRABS ,HENCE STINGRY HOOK UPS.... GRAB A CHEAP INFLATEABLE KAYAK/DINGHY THEN LIFT YA BAILARM AND ROW IT OUT ....... MAKE SURE YOU YA CHUCK ON A FEW EXTRA HOOKS OR FLASHER RIGS AND A SINKER ABOVE THE HOOKS TOO (big sinker at the bottom like a ledger setup or longline)
