I have never had mu wedding ring off since I got married in 1973 and my engagement ring only twice when needed to have it fixed the wishbone ring has never been off since 1968 my Mum bought it for me and the ruby never been off since my 40th wedding anniversary ! so a little alcohol ink would just add to my history :)
