The themes for Misty Bog and Lofty Castle are my favorite themes in the trilogy. And even though the reignited version sounds nice, it's a bit too... Loud. The original themes were more subtle and sounded more "clear". I really love the designs, the new animation and the emotions and expressions in the game. But I still prefer most of the original songs for two reasons: 1. They are songs from my childhood and will always have a special place in my heart. And I also think the original ost works better because it's more subtle, has more bass and themes sound more "clear". I noticed that some melodies and instruments get lost in the remastered themes because the main melody is very loud and overwhelming
Bubba: I'll tell you what to do with those creatures! Smash them, Spyro! Stamp 'em out and squish 'em and squash 'em! Hahahaha! Spyro: Hahaha... why not just charge and flame them? We ARE dragons after all! Bubba: (gives a thumbs up and winks)
Can't really hold a candle to the original... The thing is, it's updated but it still sounds like primitive midi instruments. The originals were already simple midi, but they had a stylistic quality that's kind of lost here. They're still primitive midi instruments, just with way less character. The original tracks could benefit from a bit of better mixing but I don't see why they should mess with the timbre like they have
Well this level was neutered. It's now a tropical amazon resort instead of a creepy junkyard swamp with scary mutant creatures. This remix seals it too.
"Oh it's the one that sounds like credits!"
Is a remix
@@zekromism666 I feel the quotations indicated in the original post implied they knew, but others that pointed it out were shocked.
Always viewed the music from this level as the main theme for the whole Spyro trilogy for some reason, heh
i mean, it was arranged for the credits theme in all 3 games
@@Chaseoman The Credits theme was a remix of Misty Bog
hearing this track in the cradits of 2 and 3 was such a nice nod to the first game
If insomniac did it they wouldve messed it up the same way they did ratchet and clank dirty
I think everyone can agree, the 2016 remake sucked
The BEST song in the whole game! The original is so good and this one is nice too.
I love this remastered track. Love the guitar acoustics.

I don't know why but when I hear this Music I think about my Childhood xD I love it
AHHHHHH! 💖 This makes me so happy!
favorite level in the 4th world!
The more I listen to it the more it sounds like Dragon Shores.
percussion is much better on the original

Does note the sorceress say something similar after you defeat that bat boss?
Wow, the introduction of the bell;s at 1:11. Oof. Goodness, Copeland. Calm down. The track is getting a bit too hot, sir.
I wonder, does this song still play in the end credits?
It does.
Sadly, the credits themselves don't do the whole "panning around the levels" thing.
@@AdmiralOctopus That disappointed me too
TheGamingManiac Same here.
It still does
Game is still great though.
This one does feel really good for the credits too
It sounds like a little jig ❤️

I'm starting to see that already
good thing I just enjoy it
Real recognizes real bro!
Tim Carter you are just complaining for the sake of complaining
You rock! Keep up!
Ohhhh nostalgic :) :) :)
I was so freaked out by those eating trees and blue frogs.. bruuh
Prepare to be freaked out again - the plants look like Muppets now, and there’s something off-putting about that.
Four people was been eaten by the dragon-eating trees...

The monsters are still obnoxious though.
Have you forgotten about man-eating trees?
hey its the ending theme.
