Monster Truck Kart gets 25" ATV Tires!

- We bought 25” ATV tires for cheap, and we’re installing them on our monster truck lifted go kart! The mini monster truck off road go kart performed pretty well at Mini Mayhem, but it was really held back by the front suspension and tires. We’re fixing that by lifting the front, modifying the suspension for more travel, and adding these off road ATV tires!

Guys, don't overthink this the tires are not on backwards they're just at the wrong corner. Switch them around until you find the right offset and the right direction.

Personally, I think if you add some dead weight beneath the center of gravity (if you can) you might get rid of some of the tippyness. Love you guys!

If that thing had a old 4 wheeler drivetrain in it that was 4x4 this would be far beyond the epicness that it already is.
Consider adding real rectangular LED headlights and tail lights. Also a "Bed" mounted roll bar with a light bar on top would make the "scale" even more convincing. Great. Bo.

Roll bar just behind the seat would look awesome and added safety and more offset the better keep the black wheels.
yup, I'd go "deep dish" with them, then put the front shocks out 3-4" more at tops and bottoms for a little more stiffness, less tipping around. couple tooth smaller on the drive sprocket or changes at counter shaft to regain its wheel torque, all simple enough alterations.

You guys should go to a fiber glass guy and have him make a mold of the body (if that’s even possible)so that you can have extra bodies just in case or for other projects
why don't y'all just make a mold of the body, then you can make more of them out of fiberglass. You could even offer than for sale so us fans can have a Cars and Cameras body on our go carts

There's a big upfront cost, from what I understand they'd be $300-$400 a piece retail price, I personally think that's too high for most people. I'd love to be proven wrong.

Fill the tires with cheap windshield washer fluid, the extra weight down low will give you tons of stability

@@smokinlogs80085 That's because coke has citric acid in it, though it's weak and there are other things that work better. windshield washer fluid is an old farmer trick for cheap tire weights, and in regions where there is freezing temps we use it because of the rubbing alcohol content doesn't freeze like the water in coke will.

If you put the wheels the other way the base would be larger and it would be more difficult to tip it! Plus the body would not touch the wheels. Awesome project!

I always thought the other wheels you were using just looked to small.....

Swap sides to get dish on outside and keep tires going right way. As tippy as it is the extra width would make it more enjoyable and safe to beat on..

Y’all should definitely do the rock bouncer build but 4wd and a smog pump supercharger
I've never seen it done but this dude told me about the smog pump supercharger. They need to do this
smog pump makes a good small engine blower, you can also catch some boost right off the cooling fan shroud by welding in some 1.5" tubing angle/curve cut to fit, plumb it straight into the fuel injector body.

for this beastie some side nerf bars would be a great addition, if it did tip over it'd stop against them before the body and driver took a hard hit.
