My boy Luis was done so much justice in this remake. More dialogue, more screen time, and finally becoming playable with a BANGER battle ost. I’m very happy for this.
I really like how unique Luis plays compared to the others, even if he, and his weapons, can be frustratingly slow. He's got a real "guerilla" vibe to his gameplay, relying on old WW1 era guns, a pipe, and lots of explosives. Him having the infrared scope is a nice touch too since if I remember right he built it. I wish they would have leaned further into the Guerilla thing though and made him more of a hit-and-run type character, it'd make him stand out even more from the rest of the cast. Anyway, he's probably my favourite to play, great work as usual.
So great that after almost 20 years, we finally get to play as Luis in the mercenaries. I still think his kit would be nicer if he had the broken butterfly, but I suppose the red 9 and bolt action rifle are powerful enough, and plus his dynamite limit-break makes up for any perceived lack of power. It's so funny just seeing him baseball swing at ganados with his lead pipe too.
I’d love a Broken butterfly for him as well. Not necessarily for the power added. But because it thematically fits so well with his old fashioned arsenal of red 9 and bolt action rifle

it is the great increasing cool videos that Luis slays ganados I was very skeptical about remaking RE4, which has a high degree of perfection, but I was impressed by the ability to control Luis in Mercenaries and the more realistic scenario design, so I decided to purchase the remake the remake is designed to make it more difficult to shoot targets at close range than the original, but I feel that it is a wonderful design that makes the most of the original concept with a wealth of functions that assist close combat such as knife parry defeating a horde of ganados with more knife actions was a dream of mine when the original game was released when I was 10 years old the Mercenaries that Lewis fights are really cool
So is Luis the new Leon? Lackluster equipment but played right kicks ass? his Red9 isn't quite as OP as the original but it is a Red9 none the less ha ha Great work 👍

wow i did missed the file where our beautiful sadistic Monstrosity was mentioned thank you comrade truly hope you are right when you think about it it could totally be a great move to move the Boss into Adas something about would be great from the prospective of been a female character fighting that Devil since you are been stalked by it and trapped in the real meaning of Claustrophobia while the damn thing is toying with you i ll be totally for the change AS LONG they feature it i guess i can be ok with it since maybe is not fair that Leon is the one who gets all the fun boss fights let Leon have Verdugo as claustrophobic stalker survival horror moment and Ada have hers with the U3 but only if U3 has his morbid Tongue sticking out the whole time XD and TERRIFYING as all hells the RESIDENTEVIL way

The zealots are quite comparing to the original game, I miss hearing them say “ Matalo!!”
They whisper more than speak, but they're just as talkative in the Remake and they do still say "Matalo!"
I'm just not noticing this now, but the timer gets increased for an an enemy killed & it doesn't have to a melee like in the previous games.
Though it does generally need to be an explosion, knife or mayhem kill.

Are their rankings consistent across all maps, or are some better on certain maps than others?
Relatively consistent, I'd say HUNK is slightly weaker on Castle as he can't neckbreak the Garradores but that's about it.

I don't see how he was done dirty in mercs, he plays just fine once you understand how to play him optimally.
